Birkenstock Ramses, Unisex-Adults' Sandals

Due to suffering from painful knee joints & after reading what seems like a thousand men's sandal reviews, I opted for the Birkenstock 'Ramses Birko-flor'....Initially, upon awaiting arrival - I was a little concerned regarding the size selected, as many reviewers claim that these come up large. I had chosen my normal size 8 'Reg' and luckily when received - the fit was spot on, with a gap of approximately 10mm between my large toe & the front of the sandal (this is recommended by the manufacturer).A blister was subsequently obtained following the initial 1 hour wear, although this has now gone and I find the Birk's extremely comfortable, with improvement as they continue to wear in (only had them a week).The actual quality of the footwear is excellent, i.e. Decent quality leather, buckle, etc, where it's obvious that these are manufactured in Germany and to a very high standard.My only concern is that of the cork footbed, where Birkenstock recommend that you apply a cork sealant upon the cork appearing dull - I'm hoping that this won't be required very often, although time will tell?Incidentally, the manufacturer also offers a full service of their footwear, where for a price they will replace the footbed, sole, repair a buckle, etc - leaving your sandals in 'As New' condition!So far, very pleased with my purchase & although still early days - they're already very comfortable & I get the impression that they'll last for some time.....

I take a 10.5 shoe.I saw the reviews and advice from website indicating to order usual size.They were far too long, the width being ok.I have returned them and ordered 9.5 from another seller as weren’t available from the 1st I’d previously tried.Much better fit.Expensive for flip flops but hoping they’re worth it as they look as if they’d stay on better than cheapo ones that I seem to slide a bit sideways out of.All that said I ended up also returning them as well.Ordered a size 9 which fit me fine.Haven’t had to wear them in much either.Bit of an experience with the toe bar and the lump under the instep but I’m used to them now and fine them comfortable, after a few days of use.The downside to all this is It’s not improved my probably awful returns record with Amazon (and the market place sellers) and my ‘carbon footprint’ (pun?) is a lot bigger than it was.

Those shopping online would know how often you get a wrong sized footwear, which is followed by painstaking returns process. I really struggled to choose the best size after reading several reviews suggesting to go for a size smaller. The Size N(narrow) and R(regular) made it even more confusing as I thought my feet are not broad. In the end I just got tired and ordered my regular size 43, R. I was mentally prepared to receive a pair of sandals which is too big. To my utter surprise it was a perfect Fit.This is my first and only review, especially for those struggling to order the right sizeConclusion: 1. Great product, 2. Go for your regular size 3. The 'R' size or 'normal width' will fit most feet (it fit mine which i think are narrow)More info here:[...]

As expected. I know from experience to go down a size in Birkenstocks and these fit my partner perfectly. They are very durable and last for years and very quickly become very comfortable as the cork footbed moulds to your own foot shape. I would never be without a pair of these sandals.

Although unfortunately not in leather, I love the colour. They are rather comfortable and resistant.However, for me, the between-fingers separation is rather hard and painful. I am hoping it to get some wear and tear so that they stop hurting. But they are feet all terrain jeeps;

i absolutely love these Birkenstocks. purchased at a great price for a holiday in Vegas. I usually find comfy sandles hard to come by as they always catch my feet. These were so comfortable, i walked for hours in these and not one blister or skin sore in sight! these are the most comfortable pair of sandals I've had. a timeless classic. They looked great with shorts and a vest top or even smart casual for those summer afternoons in the pub. will be getting another pair in a different colour!

The fit was spot on, size 35, I am normally a 36 but found this shoe too big. Never had this make before but has good reviews, they feel really comfy when I tried them on shall have to wait and see how they perform.

Put them on, walked into the garden. Felt like razor blades between my toes. Walked on a little bit then the right shoe toe piece just snapped.Crappy hard plastic attached to the sole. Put them straight in the box and returned them Still waiting on refund from the seller despite them having signed for it on recorded mail. My advice ? Don't buy these shoes. You will hurt your toes, and waste your money.
