The 15w ones are a lot more expensive. We desired a little more light, so as the old ones burn out, we are replacing them with these.

I haven't used these yet, but they appear to be the correct size and should work fine. So, I gave a high rating even though I haven't used them yet.

Use these lamps for a Himalayan salt lamp. They provide the heat required to ionize the salt as well as a pleasing decorative night light effect.They are no longer being carried by other retailers or are currently in short supply. This is due to the nanny Federal Government’s upcoming guidelines which will ban all incandescent bulbs. I place that with mandated water saving toilets requiring multiple flushing, water saving dishwashers requiring hand prewashing and multiple cycles and low flow shower heads requiring longer rinse time.God save us from the idiot bureaucrats!

Because the other review is reviewing the deliverer instead of the bulbs, I decided to post my review. Each bulb comes in their own small box and then all 10 of them were packed tightly inside a larger box filled with a lot packing peanuts which was just fine in my opinion but if the box were dropped or thrown none of that will matter anyway and chances are, atleast one or more bulbs will break. If anyone has ever been inside a UPS or FedEx warehouse they will know that packages are NOT always handled with care or they fall off pallet jacks and conveyer belts while being sorted etc.That said, I ordered 20 bulbs and both boxes were fine. I used 18 of them to install them on a wooden frame that goes around a large vanity mirror for my wife. I really wanted daylight color spectrum bulbs but they were very difficult to find and the two different ones I did find were $10-$20 for each bulb. I'll probably swap them out one day but for now they are fine. The bulbs are your normal soft white (yellowish in color) bulbs. They are plenty bright with 18 of them but I also ordered a dimmer incase she wants to dim them a little. The description doesn't say whether the bulbs are dimmable but hopefully they are. They also put out very little heat. After being turned on for 20 minutes, I was still able to touch the bulb and unscrew it while it was turned on with no problem.I'll report back once I install the dimmer if there are issues. I also included a picture of the bulbs that I snapped midway during the project.

Good thing these came as a pack of 10. s so I'm down to 1 still burning. Put all new (3) bulbs in when this order arrived - 1st of June. It's July 31 and 2 of the 3 in the fixture have been burned out for about 2 weeks. I'll get my ladder out when the 3rd goes out.They don't last near as long as the GE bulbs that I had previously been using. Value is very bad - now that I see how quickly they burn out. The GEs came a pack of 4 and lasted for months and months, and months.The GEs aren't very expensive and were very bright - much brighter than these. The only reason I ordered these is the GEs are getting hard to find.I will keep looking for them and buy a bunch of those when I find them. Looks like I'll run through these bulbs in no time!I would never buy these bulbs again. I'd rather change the light fixture than have to get my ladder out every 2 weeks.
