Worked perfect on walk in freezer door.

This product works well for the price, however, you will have to modify this item for it to work on a freezer. I am a contractor and professional handyman. This item would simply not install without modifications. But, it is worth the price. The latch on the casing side of the handle has to be cut down the handle to latch tight. Without modifications, the door will latch, but it won't seal tight, leaving a gap. That being said it is a good product that is in need of several common-sense improvements. To be frank, because of the adjustments that need to be made I would actually rate this product a 3.5. You will need a grinder, or a clamp and a hack saw, to make the adjustments. You will see once it is delivered the flaw. But it is, other than that, a good quality and functional handle.

I had a mobile freezer with a lost key so I had no ability to lock or unlock it. I swapped it out and it was nice and easy! As long as you measure properly it's an easy swap for a same sized handle.
