A Very Simple replacement. See YouTube....
My boiler stopped working a few days ago : no hot water . First stop YouTube: is it a reset button ? Old one had no reset button .Second step : is it a thermostat problem ? Looked on YouTube and looked on here for something similar . BINGO !!Relatively easy to fiddle around and change the thermostat: two screws , two wires ... I am not an electrician, but it works just fine now x a hell out of a lot cheaper than ringing for a plumber . Well worth £ 19.50 and a bit of apprehension x😎If you can change a plug , you can do this 😎

Safety cut-out temp needs to be higher as it keeps on tripping out
Seems well made as far as these things can be but set the temp dial at 70C and the safety temperature override keeps on tripping needing you to reset it before it will start working again.

Part missing.
A terminal screw was missing from the thermostat. I managed to obtain a replacement and all was well. Five stars would have been given but for this.

Good quality thermostat
The problem was not a replacement thermostat but a faulty heating element that burnt out the thermostat.

poor packaging
Arrived broken (bent) so wouldnot fit the immersion heater, also to temprature adjuster knob was missing so if it did fit it could not have the water temp adjusted the knob was not in the packaging,so it must have been sent like that
