It's a BEAST!
I absolutely love this axe. This thing is incredible. It throws great and always sticks... The back, the front, the bottom, the top, or any combo of those always stick to the target. It's honestly a challenge to throw it at a target and not get it to stick... Great design. I'm impressed.

Great throwing ax!
My son loves this ax! He promptly took it out to try it and when he threw it at the grounding hit a hidden stump, bounced off, hit the sidewalk and then almost the van! Better luck next time buddy! But the blade was slightly damaged so now he gets to learn how to sharpen an ax! It's really nice and heavy, beautifully designed and constructed.

It didn't feel especially comfortable in my hand
I was not impressed when I first opened this. It didn't feel especially comfortable in my hand. But once I started throwing it - WOWSERS! With 5 sticking points this one always plants firmly in my target. It comes already very sharp. It holds up well for recreational throwing.

Kit Rae Hawk
I find this Hawk easy to throw and east to stick in my cottonwood target. It does take a bite out of the target wood, more so than the smaller SOG hawks, but its a joy to throw. So far no problem with the edge or handle, it seems about right in temper between too soft to hold an edge and to hard and brittle.

Bad paint job, bubbling, touch it and the paint flakes off
Just opened my Rae black jet. Paint is chipping at the top of the axe head. Took off the rubber safely tip at the very bottom, when I did pulled the paint right off. Had to pull out my black sharpie, did lots of touch up

Best for throwing
I really wanted a good throwing axe for a cheap price. I never bought one before but I saw some reviews and saw that this one had the highest. Definitely worth the price. It’s awesome and very well balanced. I do wish it came with a handle but you an easily just buy some paracord and make a handle out of that and it will work fine. Very happy

It came when they said it would.
I've ordered three of them. I love this throwing axe. I traded off the first one. The second one I still have and love throwing it. It sticks so well from any distance and hasn't broken. The third one I got and threw about a dozen times and it broke in half. I still love this axe!
