This teapot is a nice medium weight and size. The top and handle are smooth wood. It heats up quickly, about 1 min and whistles when ready. It is holding up to the burners on the bottom. It is easy to clean with just hot soapy water. Do not put this in the dishwasher, the handle will not hold up in the wet heat. I love the black motif. I have not had any problems with leakage when pouring. So far the pots finish has held up with no rusting. It is very well priced for the quality.

The kettle is lightweight and feels a little thin in the materials, but it works as intended. We have not noticed any discoloration and the spout pours without spillage or run off. We like the wood handle "look", but the feel isn't there.The only thing we did not care for is the position of your hand on the handle and being able to squeeze the spout lid release. The steam comes up close to your hand with the handle on top and the lever where it is.We felt it was a little more expensive than it should be, but it is functional.

Its a kettle, nice and thick. Heats up very quickly, and the wood handle and top are great for you not to burn yourself at all. You have to put it together but it comes with the screws and a screw driver. It also comes with the pad to set the hot kettle on. Great kettle.

I really like this tea kettle. I have owned several different tea kettles over the years and this is one of the best. I really like the black finish and the wooden handles are beautiful. As far as performance goes, I own a gas stove and the kettle heats up to whistling in just a few minutes. It’s easy to handle and easy to pour. You do need to assemble the spout and handle, but this was a pretty quick job and I really like that the set came with a screwdriver for assembly. The bottom of the kettle is thinner than others I have owned, but so far, that hasn’t been a problem. For me, I have replaced kettles when the edges have become scorched, tarnished, or dirty. I have used this one for a month now and it still looks like new. Hopefully, it will last for a long time. Overall, I am very pleased with this tea kettle. I would definitely recommend it.
