Absolute Lifesaver for My Winnebago Revel sprinter
Finally had a chance to install this. at first I was thinking I would need to take it in somewhere to have it installed but turns out I was able to get it up there and installed with some help from a friend. We spend a ton of time traveling and living in our RV for long stretches of time, so having a reliable and efficient AC is crucial. The unit has really changed how we sleep with how quiet it is.I’m not exactly a DIY expert, but the installation was surprisingly straightforward. The unit came with clear instructions and all the necessary hardware for whichever roof thickness. I managed to get it up and running in about two hours. The instructions were super clear and made the whole process a easy enough.Performance: This AC is a brute. Even on the hottest days, it does cools down our RV quickly. The 15k btu I thought would be too much but is perfect, and there are no more hot spots like we had with our old unit. The adjustable vents are great for directing the airflow exactly where we need it, or you can set it on a sweep mode which is pretty cool. I kinda find it calming reallyOne of my biggest pet peeves with rthe ususal RV AC units like the old coleman we had is the noise, but this one is impressively quiet. I used my phone at waist level about an arms length away from control panel to get 48DB on low. Whether we’re hanging out during the day or trying to sleep at night, it operates at a low enough noise level thatthat we can actually talk or THINK. It’s such a relief to have a quiet, peaceful environment, especially at night. This AC is also energy-efficient, which is a big deal for us. We noticed a drop in our energy consumption compared to our old unit, which means we can save some juice..we run on batteries so it mattersNot that it's a huge deal or anything.. but the unit looks sleek and modern, fitting nicely with our RV’s interior/exterior. It feels sturdy and well-built, giving me confidence that it will last a long time. The remote control is a nice touch, making it easy to adjust the settings from the front without having to get up and mess with it.Overall, It’s made a huge difference in our comfort while on the road. fantastic investment. I highly recommend it now after putting it through some 100+ degree tests. It’s worth every penny and has made many aspects of teh RV so much more enjoyable.

A Powerful Cooling Solution for Larger RVs
The TOSOT Go Cool 15,000 BTU RV Air Conditioner is a powerful and efficient cooling solution, ideal for mid-sized to large RVs or buses. It effectively cooled down the interior, even in hot weather. The installation process was straightforward, and the unit operates quietly. While this unit is perfect for larger RVs, it's important to note that it may be too large and power-hungry for smaller camper vans. If you plan to have this plugged in to shore power, then you may be good. In our circumstances, we were misguided and found this unit to be WAY TOO LARGE as we are not going to be using shore power.Given the specific conditions of our RV, this air conditioner performed exceptionally well. It's a great choice for those with larger RVs in need of reliable cooling.

plug and play
easy to install with help to get it on the roof. It is heavy. Looks nice with 50f air on a hot day. Pulls lots of current when compressor comes on and needs a "Hard start" if running off inverter.

Outstanding!
Much better than the Coleman Mach that a dealer installed last year on my 22 year old 27 foot airstream! Installation was straight forward. The only real difficulty was aligning the screw holes when mounting the ceiling unit. I solved that by tying a piece of dental floss to the bracket and running it down through one of the holes in the bracket, and then down through the ceiling unit. By pulling the floss tight when raising the ceiling unit I was able to easily align that screw hole. Running the screw in cut off the floss. Once the first screw was in, the rest were easy.Another issue I ran into was the way the filters were removed. They are about 18” long and pull straight out towards the rear. My problem was that my bathroom wall bumps out a couple inches and prevents the removal of one of the filters. Even though the manual does not state this, it appears that the ceiling unit was designed to be installed in either orientation. There is an excess length on the control cable, which allowed me to route it over the ceiling bracket and drop it on the same side as the power connection box. There was still plenty of cable to allow me to connect the ceiling unit. The system runs flawlessly, and I can now remove the filters from the front.Last weekend was my first real test. 98 degrees and full sun, and the unit was able to keep the interior in the mid-70’s.The materials, engineering, and workmanship on this unit are so superior to the Coleman, it is well worth the small incremental cost increase. The unit is made by Gree. It appears identical to the unit marketed by Premier Products. Free shipping from Amazon is why I went with the Tosot version.

Unit must be removed and returned if you have any issues.
The manual states, "Should repair be necessary, contact your nearest authorized Service Centre" well there is no such thing! Your only option is to remove the unit, box it up, and send it back if you have an issue. I had an issue with my unit and this is exactly what happened to me. Good luck with yours!

Very quiet operation, Good customer service!
I replaced the original Coleman Mach A/C unit on my RV with this unit. The original was loud at 70+ dB. This unit runs at 60 dB at the highest fan setting, and only 50 dB when on low fan. You can easily converse right under the unit. It actually has more capacity than the original: 15,000 BTU versus 13,500 BTU, and it's a heat pump so I won't need to run the propane heater if I'm plugged in.When installing the unit, I couldn't find a bag of self tapping screws, and so contacted customer service. They responded promptly. Looking around for the fifth or sixth time, I found the screws in the accessory bag. I don't know why I didn't see them previously! Anyhow, the installation went fairly easily after that.
