This is a super compact unit that fits easily on a bathroom counter. It's a perfect size for retainers. I have a larger ultrasonic that I use for technical pens, but this is by far a more compact, space efficient unit.It is also pretty nicely designed, handsome with black and chrome. The top is fairly simple and the controls consist of buttons only. In operation it works as intended, to lightly clean dentures and retainers. My wife is using it for her nighttime retainers at present.Haven't had it for long so I cannot attest to longevity.

I'm sure this cleaner would work perfectly with retainers/dentures, I use it for cleaning watch parts with a special cleaner along with my Gold necklaces. The size is perfect for my workbench (would fit in a bathroom quite well too) and it's held up for 4 months now. The stainless bowl is easy to clean and the unit itself is also easy to use. I personally like how this looks vs my older bulkier model that did the same job as this does.

The media could not be loaded. Bought this from the many good reviews it got. Turns out the product does not work properly. The item on the video is the replacement one I got since the first one keeps stopping on its own within the less than what we set on the so-called timer. This one is basically doing the same thing and at one point not even responding after it randomly shuts down when pressing the power button. Returning this one back again and getting a different product all together. NOT RECOMMENDED FOR ANY BUYERS AT ALL!!!

We got this to help keep our rings and other jewelry clean. I have a custom made ring made from a Tennessee state quarter. I've worn it 24/7 for about 3 years. I've never cleaned it at all. I put in some distilled water and a few drops of Palmolive dish soap just to see what it would do. I also added two 10k gold bands that belonged to my parents. They were bought new in 1970 and worn until 1993. They have been put away for over 30 years. Also in the cleaner are two tungsten rings. I wanted to see if this would clean them without any special solvents.The device has a 3 minute timer. I ran it 3 times with all 5 rings and wiped the water off with a microfiber lens cloth. No scrubbing or polishing. The do look some better and there is some debris in the water. Perhaps it would be better with a jewelry cleaner included? I'm giving it 5 stars because it does indeed vibrate like an ultrasonic cleaner should. The power supply is a standard 12VDC @ 2A (24 watts) with a 5.5 mm barrel.Definitely recommended.

The media could not be loaded. The ultrasonic cleaner is small in size but can hold some mid size jewelry. You need to ass water and solution or soap. It cleaned my chain but it took a total of 5 trys. The water ended up pretty dirty. It vibrates and warms the water to clean. Price is a little high

We tried two ultra-sonic cleaners. Both got our jewelry clean!Both had lots of English errors in the instructions.This one had a greater number about specific warnings about things you couldn't clean in it, including UV filtered glasses and emeralds, anything with a Mohs hardness scale of less than eight (although Mohs was completely misspelled as "Morse").This one was VERY loud; other than the volume it didn't really bother me, but it REALLY bothered everyone else in my family.This one did not come with a basket of any type.The other one was quieter.The other one came with a basket and the "prop" but the instructions didn't say how to use it.The other one has a nice see-through lid that is easier to open than this model.
