Garden Collection Hanging Hummingbird Feeders(pack of 2)

This product is exceptionally easy to assemble, disassemble and and clean, without sugar drips. The parts fit together well, and the hanging loop is big enough for a pole feeder. Hummingbirds like it just fine, and without a perch, other birds (woodpeckers, orioles) don't bother it. The bee guards seem to a decent job keeping away bees and ants. It is a thin plastic, and the degree to which the red has faded already suggests it wont't last more than a couple of seasons in the sun. However, its light weight means I can hang it on from a suction cup hook. I consider it to be a good value and a sweet addition to my yard.

These are surprisingly more durable than most reviewers give them credit for. They are not as flimsy as a water bottle, more like a plastic coke bottle.I thought they would only last the summer but I plan to get at least 2 years.

These are plastic so won't last for decades. I want to increase the number of feeders to see if the population will match the supply. if not I'm not out much.

The plastic on these is pretty flimsy. probably won’t last two seasons. I had to buy one exactly like I had before otherwise, my hummingbirds do not return to it. They came to one not two other. I don’t know why. this can be easily taken apart and cleaned and stored for the winter.

I put a four star on cleaning because they are cheap enough that when they get "gummy" we just throw them away. We have used the same feeders for many years and have been happy with them

Whoever came up with this design clearly has given this a lot of thought. The deck that holds the flowers comes apart when you unscrew from container making it so easy to clean.

As another reviewer pointed out: "Unless shaken, which then generates air bubbles up through nectar container, feeding tray is NOT getting REPLENISHED after hummingbirds feed."I wondered why the level of nectar was the same after 3 days. Then shook it. Air bubbles rose, nectar level dropped 1.5 inches.There is a vacuum or air pocket effect going on due to bad design. Does this company really care about Hummingbirds? Do they not strive to perfect their product? Does Amazon care that they are selling non-recyclable plastic junk?Don't buy unless you are available to shake the feeder every day.
