Mother’s Day gift for my mother who is in nursing home. Was right size and she was able to share with family and friends with a few left over

They is dry and crumbly with dinky little chocolate chips. They is square, an unacceptable shape for better cookies. Soft with no crisp to them at all. There maybe even be nuts in them, but that isn't enough to make them a good acquisition . So all and all, a poor showing for a Amazon purchase. once the cookies are gone the metal box may be worth trying to use, but even that is questionable. I didn't want them and I am concerned because I got them anyway. Oh bother.......

Excellent appearance made a wonderful gift

Bought my own Mother's Day treat. Loved the size of the cookies! They were soft, and the chocolate cookies reminded me of brownies; however, the chocolate chip cookies had no flavor whatsoever. My son ate those (thankfully). The price was reasonable. Probably won't purchase again.

UPDATE: The company responded to my review immediately which is very impressive. I understand mistakes do happen and I was promptly refunded. How the matter is addressed means everything to me as a customer. I highly recommend purchasing this company.Purchased as a gift in JUNE. Arrived in a Christmas box which poses questions about freshness. Cookies were broken inside tin. Quality of cookies are only okay. Disappointed. Glad I did not ship as a gift directly. Be certain to inspect first.

I ordered these cookies as part of a package of goodies I sent to a hospital where the staff on a particular floor was extraordinary! I wanted to thank them beyond just a card. I also ordered a box of the same cookies sent to me at my home. I wanted to be sure they were as good as advertised (and reviewed) and that my gift to this amazing staff was as good as possible. MY cookies were dry, crumbly, and pretty low on the “taste” scale. Certainly not as “grandma-baked-goodness” that the cute video seemed to sell. Later I ran into one of the floor nurses who thanked me for the goodies giving highlights of the fruit, nuts and other things I’d sent, but not one word about the cookies, and since I’d tasted them myself, I knew why. She was being honest by omission. If someone is thinking of these cookies as a thank-you gift, I’d look elsewhere!

The “presentation” is well done. Cookies were well packaged. The tin is very eye-catching and suitable for gifting. The cookies: pretty plain tasting.

We shared them over two weeks time and savored every bite. I used to like a good piece of dark chocolate with my nightly glass of wine, but your cookies with a dry red wine are even better!Thank you, thank you, thank you for sharing your ‘highly classified secret recipe’ with the rest of us.I grew up with a mom who loved to bake; at Christmas she made 20 different kinds of cookies and shared them with neighbors, friends and family.
