This is perfect for any type of sitz bath use--post partum--abscesses.... Better than more expensive ones, easy to use and clean. The flow of water is fresh and the overflow excess drains into toilet. I am a nurse and would suggest this rather than any other I have used. The price is much less than in most drug store chains.

Right out of the box this is NOT for an elongated toilet seat . Not suitable except if you have a small round toilet seat
