It’s lightweight, great neck profile, & mod platform.
Great guitar! Only wish more colors were available. Maybe this review will change that? It’s a great guitar : lightweight for those out there that prefer lighter than 8lbs. Mine was 7.22lbs. Absolutely “ Great”. Sale price was $99. Can’t beat that ! Great mod platform as well! Will buy again, but KGD.. more color options please ! :)Bob w.

It's ok
I bought one on sale out of curiosity. The body is super lite. Routed for 3 single coils. There was a crack in the paint by the neck pocked that's about 1/2 inch long. Otherwise the finish is fine. The pots are the small cheap ones. The switch is the PCB kind but feels solid. I actually like the plastics on the knobs and switch. They are kind of course feeling but in a pleasant grippy way.The bridge is cheap but works fine. I don't see any need to replace it.The pickups are inexpensive ceramic single coils and they sound like it. That's not necessarily a bad thing though. They are mid focused and punchy. I like them. The neck has an unfinished feel which I like. The were a few cosmetic issues that don't affect playability. The tuners are cheap feeling but work fine. The fret board is supposed to be rosewood but I don't know. It doesn't look or feel like it and it's really dark. Doesn't feel like real wood to me. The frets were level and crowned well.My biggest problem with the guitar was the neck. The fretboard felt like unfinished laminate. And the frets were the roughest I've ever felt. Bending a string felt like sand paper. Very uncomfortable. I took the neck off, did a level and crown since I was working on it. I sanded the fretboard and noe it feels fine. I also polished the frets. This made the neck play a lot better. Feels fine now.I don't mind doing the work to get it playing great. However, if you're looking for a guitar that plays great out of the box, id look elsewhere. I probably should have returned it because of the neck. It was that bad. It plays great now after quite a bit of work, but there are other guitars that play better out of the box for the same money. And don't buy it thinking your getting close to CV Squire quality for your money. You aren't. It's a budget guitar and feels like it.

Superb Blue Silverburst Strat - matches Gibson Robot LP color!
The media could not be loaded. I have been searching for a blue silverburst strat (Fender released it in 2019) that matches my 2007 Gibson Robot LP blue silverburst guitar. But I didn’t want to spend $1800 on the Fender. Amazon offered the KGD blue silverburst at a tenth of the Fender price. It’s a flawless finish, and has a very well intonated setup out if the box. The pickups are single coil but no discernible hum. Pots for volume and tone as well as 5-way blade switch are also hum free. The trem bridge is a little bit stiff and the tuners detune when the trem is used for a slight push or pull. But for the price this is going to sit next to the expensive Gibson Robot LP in my studio, and I look forward to my son and I jamming on matching guitars.Update: 09/04/24I bought an active Fishman Fluence single coil loaded pickguard and universal rechargeable Strat battery and replaced the jack, pickguard and back plate. I put D’Addario NYXL 9 gauge strings and I also replaced the tuners with Fender locking tuners. Best Strat in the world now! 😎🤩🥳 It has a completely noise free pro sound better than a Fender Strat. The fretboard is flatter than the standard Fender neck, and the frets are a tad coarse when bending strings, but I’m sure they will wear quickly as it gets played. I might even buff the frets.

Excellent Value.
I usually go on and on with my reviews, but since I'mmostly playing Gibson types' of guitars lately I'mnot putting in time on this Strat, it plays well andlooks great, and as said, the Value is definitely there.

Great build and finish
I like the looks of this guitar and it's great value for the money. Could have a little more space between the tuning machines.

Excellent
Nice craftsmanship and neck profile is familiar. Pickups sound very good. Tuners and bridge are fine.

Underwhelming guitar
Nice looking guitar but!Cheap, nasty feeling fret board, rough unpolished, scratchy frets, sharp fret ends. Disappointingly cheap.
