On the single page instruction paper under battery charging it states that “the blue light indicates it is charging”. When i plug it in to charge there is a red light, what does that mean?The top hat is crooked, although it adds to the cuteness of it, thats not what was expecting.

This is an adorable little conversation starter! The only problem with it is the price. There is nothing bad I can say about this cute little nightlight. It is sturdy, well made, and works great as long as you aren’t looking to light up a large area – it’s more about creating mood than functioning as a light. One of its best features is its ability to shine in different modes and colors, making it fun as well as decorative. It is absolutely the cutest lamp you will ever see and you can’t help enjoying having it next to you in your favorite nook.My only issue is that the price is a bit high for something that doesn’t really serve a lot of function, unless you take into consideration its value as a piece of art in your home. I would also have preferred an option to leave it plugged in; impossible to do with the non-standard charging port on the top.

This is the second lamp from this collection that I have and they are each adorable on their own but when you start putting the collection together they are even more adorable. Even at it's highest power it does not put out a lot of light but they do make great room decor. I like that they are rechargeable and don't have to be plugged in all the time. The plug is in top and the touch ring is in the top, it does not turn on unless you use the touch ring. It will make a great night light or bedside light.

A cute light that is more decorator/conversation item than a really functional lamp - except perhaps as a nightlight.I have him in my office sitting on a shelf hanging out with my Stanley Cup winning hockey player pics (Go Wings!). If you have a shelf or other flat surface with an edge, he’ll be content to hang out there, shining his light below. Even though he is silver, because of the light diffuser covering the LED, light doesn’t reflect off the rest of the lamp in any significant way.He’d make a good nightlight and he can plug in to recharge during the day. He won’t light up while charging which is accomplished via a jack on top of the lamp. Think old school headphone jacks before lightning connectors and AirPods and you’ll know what I’m talking about.My rating reflects that the value to price ratio seems a little too low currently.

This little guy puts off a surprising amount of light - not "I could read a book with his next to me," but enough to provide ambient light to a corner of a room.His quirky, fun little self is the source of so many smiles. The only thing I wish was different is the power cord. I wish he was charged by a standard usb-c cord. If his non-standard cord gets misplaced, his light will be sorely missed.
