New fan of Brooks sneakers
These are AMAZING! I am a size 9W and these fit perfectly as a 9W. They are labeled EU40 and the EU40 in other mfg are too large. These fit better. So supportive and just enough softness in the inner sole. Too soft , cushiony does not give supportive. I love the gentle hug of these shoes. I have never purchased Brooks before and these Ghost15 are THE BEST. I am so glad my husband said to check these out. He knows I have problem feet and need great fitting shoes mostly orthopedic and apma approved. I love that I can wiggle my toes, there is no cramping or rubbing. Give these a try and order your regular size. The raspberry navy color is beautiful. I am now hooked on BROOKS shoes. I am soon to be 74 and a very active and will enjoy, even more, my many walks. Thank you

New Brand added to my exercise shoes arsenal
I'm 65 years old and basically walk/jog about 5 miles, 5 days a week. My knees and feet are fine, and I'd like to keep them that way. I actually have numerous workout shoes (Easy Spirit-Denise Austin, Skechers, Aasics) and like to keep trying new shoes. I came upon the Brooks Ghost 16 Neutral Running Shoe and the reviews of the shoe seemed good enough to give the shoe a try. These will be my new outside trail exercise shoes. I wore for the first time, right out of the box, and it didn't appear they needed any "break-in" time, and they didn't. I was very pleased with the grip, comfort and style of the shoe -- seems like it will be a good brand for me to continue with.

Comfy
This is my third pair of Brooks Ghost that I’ve purchased from Amazon. I always wear a 10 in Brooks, but all other shoes I wear a 9. So be sure to size up. I stand on concrete 40 hours a week, and these shoes are great for that.

Correct sizing and arch support
I had been buying 1.5 sizes up because the stores don't carry my width. I got the x-wide width and they fit very well with my actual shoe size. This is great because they support my high arches in the correct place and the toe box has plenty of room.

When you find a good fit, get 2. Same brand and size have very different fit between styles.
I have been a Brooks loyal customer for years, purchasing 4 or more pairs per year. I am a size 9, fairly high arch, need a generous toe box – but not wide in the heel. I consider myself a moderate level athlete. I fast walk 6-10 miles per day, and more when I am training for an event (such as the 3Day/60 mile walk). My go to for several years was the Adrenaline GTS 22. I could buy a new pair, slip my custom orthotics in, and go. No break-in period was needed. These worked great for my 3Day/60 mile walk events. Then they went to the Adrenaline GTS 23, those also fit well. Then in Oct 2024, I had to order the GTS 23 GTX. These were too narrow in the toe box. I had to return them. I’ve since tried the Revel 6 (kept for non-athletic wear); the Adrenaline GTS 24 (toe box too tight); Ghost Max 2 (felt pushed forward and were clunky); Ghost 16 (wasn’t too bad, wore it 6 mile outside and it started feeling like my toes-metatarsals were crunching); another Ghost 16 (to confirm if it was just an oddity last time – wasn’t) I decided to try a wide, and ordered the Launch 10, in 9 wide. They were too wide overall. Then tried Launch 10, in 9 regular width. The Launch 10 is the winner by far. Just ordered another pair, as there are not many options in my size left.My husband thought I was crazy with shoes coming and going. I don’t mind the price as long as the shoe fits properly and will not cause me any downtime from injuries.I now have a spreadsheet keeping track of all of this – paying particular attention to details like the vendors description (soft, protective vs responsive springy); are they supportive or neutral; and especially the midsole drop. When you find the right shoe, order back-up pair because they might not be the same in 3 months when you need to get new shoes.

6 Months In - Still Like New and Pain Free
I've been wearing the Brooks Ghost tennis shoes daily for the past six months, and I'm beyond impressed. Despite heavy daily use, they show zero signs of wear or breakdown. There is no fraying, sole separation, or fading. The color still looks sharp and is neutral enough to match almost anything in my wardrobe, which is a bonus. They have even been washed in the washing machine! From a comfort and performance standpoint, these are top-tier. I’m on my feet for up to 12 hours a day, and these shoes stay cool and supportive the entire time. The difference they've made in my overall health is undeniable: I used to deal with regular foot and leg pain, and even back spasms. Since switching to Brooks as my main shoe over a year and a half ago, all of that has stopped. If you're looking for a durable, supportive, and stylish everyday shoe that genuinely holds up over time--look no further. The Brooks Ghost is absolutely worth it.

Brooks Ghost 16
The Brooks Ghost running/walking shoe is my favorite. Very sturdy and lots of cushion. I have 2 pairs of the Ghost 14 in medium width and love them, so I ordered a pair of the Ghost 16. It seems the Ghost 16 are wider than the Ghost 14, so I had to order a narrow size. Overall, great shoe and very happy with my choice.

Great shoes but go a half size up from your norm
The Ghost 16 shoes arrived quickly but sadly they were a little short at the toe for my long, slim foot. Suggest buying a half size bigger than your normal shoe size. No quibble returns for which I'm very grateful. The new shoes have now arrived (a gift from my son) and they are utterly comfortable in the half size up. A great fit for my long, slim feet and a joy to walk in (great for running too).
