The taste is absolutely delightful! This protein powder is incredibly easy to drink—no gritty texture, and it mixes seamlessly. This item surprised me so much. I usually just buy whatever protein is on sale, and when I saw that this was half off I decided to try it out. Typically vegan proteins gross me out soo much, they have a weird bean-y aftertaste, never mix right, and the macros are never as good, but I just chug my protein for the gains so not really a big deal. BUT when I tried this out I was so pleasantly surprised! First thing I noticed was that it blends incredibly easy, even easier than some whey proteins I've used. It also tastes great, I got the vanilla flavor and can definitely see my self making a protein cookie dough with this. The macros aren't the best, for example my Ghost whey protein is 130 Calories for 25g of protein and this one is 140 for 23g, but they are pretty good overall. I can't speak to the other health benefits (Collagen Boosters and Hyaluronic Acid) as I haven't been using this for long enough, but I definitely recommend this based on taste, how well it blends, and macros.

I make protein iced coffees with the vanilla flavor and they are sooo good. I blend instant coffee, protein powder and water, add ice and blend again and then I put a few more ice cubes in my tumbler after it's done. I make 40+ ounces and the one scoop is perfect flavor-wise and I just sip it throughout the morning as my breakfast. It is not gritty or chalky AT ALL - I just swish it around every once in a while and it stays blended and undetectable except the flavor. I was previously a black coffee drinker so for me, the flavor is like an amazing but not too sweet dessert and I don't put any "milk" or sweetener. I think the calorie/protein ratio is very good. I tried to switch to a custom powder that had 30 fewer calories but the sweetener in their vanilla did not taste nearly as good so I'm back on my second tub of this. Highly recommend.UPDATE: It is also great in hot coffee! I feared that my delicious protein iced coffees would end when it got colder but I checked the Birdman site which says cooking with it is totally fine so now I put scoop in a little warm water and use a frother to blend it and then add the rest of the hot water for the coffee. I'm using a 20 oz tumbler with one scoop and it isn't too sweet. I shake it around now and then because it does settle a bit but who cares about doing that. After drinking half at work, I added some more instant coffee and hot water and it wasn't overly-diluted and still tasted great! Obviously this would work with brewed or instant coffee. Imho, this substitutes for any creamer or milk so that saves some calories.

I have tried a lot of different protein powder brands and shakes. I think this one tasted pretty dang good. The packaging is misleading, depending on how you view marketing😆. The smell isn't weird. It blended pretty decently with Califia extra creamy oat milk. Some of the props go the oat milk, which is why I gave it 4 out of 5 stars. I usually drink So Lean, So Clean mix or OWYN ready made shakes. This mocha does a easy job of giving me all of the nutrients I need with the protein being the filler upper. I don't feel like snacking so much with this kind of alternative. Filling and decent price.

I haven’t been buying this brand for at least eight years. Easy to digest, tasty, no nasty Stevia after taste, vegan, high protein, content taste good enough to mix with plain water, mixes easily in a blender bottle, and a great value. Used to drink before going to CrossFit classes at 5:30 in the morning. Doing handstands, weightlifting, jumping, running, rope climbing, etc., and this was the only protein that did not make me sick.

Ok product, but NOT worth the insane price! They keep raising the price. The smaller container with only 15 lousy tiny servings used to be $17, now it's $30. And a few months ago the bigger container was $43, and now it's $59.99 🙄 So now what I do is buy 1 container of Birdman and mix half of the container with cheap unflavored pea protein (Birdman is WAY too sweet by itself anyway). That way 1 container of Birdman/pea protein lasts me 3 months. I'm in search of something better though, because the price increases are absolutely ridiculous and not worth it. The only reason I keep buying it is because I'm a creature of habit and haven't had time to find a new one. But until I do I'm going to start having to add even more pea protein to make it last even longer.

For those that have been disappointed in the Garden of Life Plant Based Sport Vanilla formula change, this is your new replacement! While the formula tastes a little sweeter (stevia) than the comparative brand, the flavor and quality of blend is great plus the benefits of ingredients. Happy to have nailed a replacement for my long time go-to first try. Welcome to your new favorite plant based protein powder!

I grabbed this huge bagas it was a major sale, soI really wanted to like this...or at least have it be okay. It's not the worst thing I've ever invested but I wouldn't say it was good either. The powder absolutely does not mix hardly at all in liquid. It looks and feels a bit disgusting. Also, my stomach doesn't seem to agree with it. I've never had that particular issue with any other protein powders so I'm not sure why. The flavor would not be horrible if the powder mixed better.
