This pewter license plate from Rico Industries is solid and well-constructed. It does not bend when some pressure is applied. I think I could bend it if I put some muscle into it, but for a license plate fame it is solid and heavy. It is pewter colored with a textured finish. The pewter coloring is uneven on my frame. Much lighter in some places and darker in others. The UCLA Bruin writing is pewter on a black background. I see a couple of small scratches on my top black section. The item description said team colors, but mine is black and silver (pewter.) I am actually happy about this because I really didn’t want blue & yellow! My husband’s new car is arriving at the end of the month. He was super happy to get this frame to put on his almost here car. So, by his reaction, this frame makes a great gift. I like how sturdy and heavy it is. I did take off a star for the uneven coloring and small scratches – but honestly it is going on a car and will be subjected to road dirt and rocks, so these small flaws are not really that big of an issue for me.

I really like the pewter look and feel of the Rico Industries NCAA Kentucky Wildcats Pewter License Plate Frame. It fits nicely on the back of my truck and blends right into the truck color scheme. The frame appears to be very well made and unlike some of those faux chrome license plate frames, is solid and well etched.As the product page says, the quality of these frames is like the vintage style where things were proudly made. The antique pewter finish reminds me of license plate frames I had on some of my cars and trucks back in the 70's.I have deep roots to the U of K as a young boy and will proudly display this frame wherever I go now! It only took a few minutes to remove the old plastic frame and get this one right and proper and ready for the road. Notice how well it blends into the truck in the picture above. The perfect match. And it's not even mud season yet!Overall I think the Rico Industries NCAA Kentucky Wildcats Pewter License Plate Frame is a real nice vehicle accessory listed for a very fair price point for how well it is made.
