When I was a kid I collected a few old British coins (pennies, threepenny bits, sixpences, farthings etc), I'm talking about 60 years ago! I fished them out the other day and needed a comprehensive book to give me some idea of the're worth. Alas, nothing of any value; however, it was fun to go over them even from a nostalgic view. So, a great reference book. I'm glad I bought it.

The booklet is entitled 2024 and I was therefore very disappointed that the 50 p decimal coins the value of which were the object of my interest were not even featured in the book and the values given ended in 2010 NOT 2024!!This aspect of the book therefore renders it useless

My husband collects coins and I bought this book for him for information. He is very pleased with it.

Ok but was looking for something to start my grandson on 11yrs of age.
