Awesome clips did the job and great deal

The clips look adorable and add a fun touch to my hair routine but they fall short in terms of durability. The design and gold color is beautiful making these clips a stylish accessory that I feel makes my hair look great, however, I found that the clips are not as sturdy as I had hoped. After just a few uses, some of them started to lose their grip and no longer hold my hair securely. A couple of the clips broke when I tried to use them on thicker sections of my hair so it seems to work better if it’s for small sections or for slipping back the hair. They work fine for lightweight tasks like holding small sections or accessorizing. Overall the Clips are great for adding a decorative touch to your hair, but they lack the durability I’m giving it 4 stars because they are super cute and stylish for some hair styles.

I love these clips, especially for shaping my curtain bangs! They're always my go-to's for whenever I'm also trying to get my hair out of my face (especially when doing desk-work). So cute and can never go wrong with them!

I have VERY straight and thin hair. I struggle to find any clips that my hair doesn't slip out of in less than 10 minutes.These work wonders. They stay secure once you get a good grip. I don't have creases left in my hair, and they are super cute!I am using these at least 3 times a day to try hairstyles I haven't been able to do in years!5 Stars

My hair tends to fall down on my face when I look down even when I tuck it behind my ears, so I usually use hair pins or just put them in a pony tail. Both are problematic because hair pins crinkle my hair and pony tails tend to bend my hair so I have to wet my hair and blow dry it to straighten it again.This hair clip does help avoid crinkling my hair and keep it away from my face. About the only thing I don’t like is the color. I have dark hair so the colors stand out too much and looks funny—at least to me. I prefer hair pin colors that blend in rather than stand out. Even the black ones stand out because the metal part is gold colored. Some people may not mind that too much, so maybe it’s just me.GOOD TO KNOW:-The flat, plastic part is about 1 6/8 inches long and about 6/8 inch wide on its widest part.-The metal part seems sturdy enough, but the wide plastic part seems to just be glued on, so I don’t know how long these pins would last. But the price($5.99) seems fair for eight clips, so it might not be so bad if I have to purchase them again at some future date.
