Works
I’m running 12v at 3amps through this switch and have not had any issues.

simple sturdy replacement switch but could get for cheaper elsewhere
Can use for AC or DC. 12 V DC or 5 V AC RMS will light up lamp. Lamp is an LED light not a neon light. Pretty study switch with a good contacts on the inside. Found cheaper elsewhere however.

Nice SPST illuminated switch
This is a very nicely made SPST panel-mount switch rated for 15A 250VAC or 20A 125VAC. It has a neon lamp to indicate power on. If you connect load, line, and neutral as noted in picture three the neon lamp will light when the switch is in the ON position. If you do not connect the neutral line, the switch still works but the neon indicator does not light.Recommended.

Positive switch action
This switch has a positive 'snap' action, which it should for it's current rating. It DOES, however, seem a bit narrower than I expected - for my replacement situation. It fits in and latches in as expected but slides left & right a little. I thought these were a standard width.

An illuminated switch
This is a good quality switch. I got it to replace the broken switch that was on my 6" grinder. I doubt it draws the full 15 amps that this switch rated for, but it doesn't get hot or anything like that for my use case. It would be nice if the spade terminals were labeled, as it does matter where ground goes if you want the light to work. This is because the ground can be switched off if that is how it is connected, which prevents the light from turning on when the switch is turned on. It was a little small for the hole in my grinder, but it does fit. You may want to take measurements of the switch that you're replacing with this one.Overall, I recommend this switch.
