Simple to install. Works as it should. Not too heavy, but made solidly. Sturdy when mounted. Good value for the $$$. I prefer this design for ease of use and classic looks.

I bought this design because I have limited space above outlet so tall gooseneck would not work. I also wanted a "downlight" rather than something shining brightly in all directions.After installing them the light quality and direction exceeded my expectations. Rather than previously glaring light, these lights make the area seem warm and cozy.Simple install; weatherproof design, classic zinc, barn style. Headed back to replace fixtures on the other side of the house!

We just had the outside of our home completely remodeled and wanted something special to compliment our new siding, roof, and trim. These sconces immediately caught our eye online. Now that they're installed, they give a unique look to our home. The brown with copper coloring blends in beautifully, plus we love how the downward light makes it easier to see along the perimeter of our house at night.

This light looks good above the front door of my 1914 Craftsman home. I couldn't find an appealing fixture at the local big box retailer that didn't have an integrated LED bulb; old wiring prevents me from using LED bulbs on a circuit with a timer. Globe Electric to the rescue! I was able to pair this fixture with a vintage-style incandescent bulb. My only complaint is the mounting hardware, which has room for improvement. It was very difficult to get it to line up on the electrical box because the screws are long and the wall plate is shallow. I could never get the fixture level, but at least it isn't crooked enough to be an eyesore.

I bought this light fixture to replace the ugly builder-grade fixture that came with our house. I really like this light. I wanted something that just would cast the light downward and not outwards in all directions. I must admit, I pictured a larger light fixture in my head and was slightly disappointed when I opened the box. However, it really is the perfect size for my needs. I did not want the light fixture to be THE conversation piece; I just wanted it to have just as much style as functionality.The install was pretty easy. In fact I did it myself because I did not want to wait for my husband to come home. It took maybe 20 minutes. As can be seen by the pictures, I just used a CFL lightbulb. I believe it to be the medium base style – not sure… All I know is that I did not have to buy a special type of light bulb – it’s the standard bulb that is most commonly used.The color is great – an oil rubbed bronze finish. I’m in the south and when I took the pictures, our tree pollen was in full swing, so that is the yellow/green dust that you see in the pictures.The dome/globe part of the light measures just under 8 inches in diameter. The base (the part that mounts to the wall) measures about 5 inches in diameter. The overall height including the globe/dome and the arm is about 10.5 inches. –Please see pictures.
