This item has been spread on my bedroom floor since it arrived because not only is nothing numbered, the instructions are not clear and many holes are missing altogether. it is almost impossible to get a screw in by hand. My son is very, very strong and has very strong hands but try as he may he could not get the screws in to the alleged holes which are just dots on the wood. Every screw was going in at an angle and no matter how strong you are the screws will not tighten up. I now have to go out and buy an electric drill ans one with a magnetic bit. It is disgusting to sell a product like this and had it not been for the teal matching my sofa I would send it back. As it is I was going to buy other pieces in this range so it has saved me some money because I will not be buying the matching sideboards. Steer clear of this range unless you are an experienced carpenter and can make all the necessary adjustments. I am disabled from a bad back and there is no way I could put this together - it looks so simple but is so far removed from simple that it is simply a waste of time and money. Then once you have bought an electric drill or paid a handy man to assemble the item and you put the glass shelves in you find that the room under and on top of the glass is not big enough to put your boxes in, ie'; Sky Box, DVD Player etc. Just enough room to put a magazine. However it is so low to the ground that you have to get on your hands and knees to get down to it - you may be alright if you are in your 20's but much older and it is a problem. You would think that the company would value its customers and put in decent holes with marked pieces and put appropriate feet on it to raise it up. If you have a coffee table between you and the TV or you have it in your bedroom you will find that half the screen is obscured by the furniture because it is not more that 12 inches, give or take an inch, above the ground.. Obviously they do not value their customers because they send out a product in this state. It is almost like a bad joke and you expect Jeremy Beadle to pop round and tell you that you are game for a laugh! I would NEVER recommend to anyone; neither the product and particularly NOT the company. Just looked at other reviews and noticed that the good reviews do not appear to be for this item but for other units.

Although it looks ok, it's not acceptable to be paying £80 for something you need to use your own power tools to construct, not an issue for me as i have power tools and know how to use them for fiddly jobs.This item requires you to drill your own pilot holes which are not in the easist position to drill to start with. You can easily ruin this item by using a drill bit which is too big or the part moving as you drill the holes.The image in the pircutre makes it look much bigger than it actually is, this item should be £40 max.

Well happy the only thing if anything is like all instructions I have come across in last few years are not great but the product is excellent

This item comes with no tools. Whilst assembling I learnt the pieces didn’t already have holes in. I had to screw in the screws with a screwdriver making my own holes. 2 of the 3 pieces had holes in for the tiny ledge piece the glass rests on however the 3rd doesn’t. I will now need to measure it up and be very careful after sourcing a drill to make a hole. Maybe I should have paid a little extra and got a more expensive cabinet which would be easier to assemble.

Looks OK, top rail kept becoming detached had to fit additional bracket

It took me and my partner a short while to fathom how to build this simple unit however holes should have been marked in a few places as left to guess work - also the end panels sent didn’t fit and no instructions or holes to show how these should be fitted so two panels left un-used (not happy about it) and if we’d just drilled holes they would have looked atrocious as they over hang each side?! also glass shelves very precarious
