The assembly of this file cabinet was remarkably straightforward. The quality of the wood is commendable, with its substantial thickness and vibrant appearance. The size is ideal, fitting seamlessly into its designated space. The drawers offer a generous amount of wide and deep storage. Despite its luxurious appearance, the desk is surprisingly affordable. The price exceeded my expectations.

I looked at the reviews for this product and while they were somewhat mixed I went for it and purchased it. Needed it for my home office. File storage, display, and a printer stand.First it shipped very fast. Shipped the day after I ordered it and was here the next. Not sure if they have any other locations but it shipped from New Jersey in my case. Box was a little beat up but overall seemed to be packed good. Some of the parts had little scuff marks on them that were likely caused during shipping but they rubbed right off.Instructions were clear enough. Little spelling errors and things but to be expected. All parts including hardware are labeled making it very easy. To address one of the other reviews yes the holes can be a little off sometimes. If you have ever put together furniture from China before you know what I mean. But they weren't a big deal. Just had to finesse it here or there. Most of the time if you just wait till the end of putting a part together to fully tighten everything you will be fine. It took a couple of hours to put together by myself. Some parts were a little tricky but overall not bad.Construction is good. Metal and engineered wood as described. It seems level and does not wobble. Drawers are decently smooth. Not the best but what you would expect at this price point. Locks are the same. Decent but nothing to write home about. They slot into a groove in the wood. Wouldn't keep anything really valuable in them but they will keep a kid out.Overall the product seems to be pretty good. Nothing spectacular but definitely worth the cost. 4/5 due to the poor tolerances in the manufacturing process. But overall I can't complain. Glad I took the risk and purchased it.

This is a great piece for the home office, it was a little difficult to get together but once I did its nice and sturdy and looks great. You have the option to use the drawers as filing cabinets or to just fill with miscellaneous stuff. It has a nice locking feature and I love the hooks to hang my headphones or other items. It was a little smaller than I expected so just make sure you pay attention to the measurements.

This is an 80lb box FYI. The instructions to assemble are mostly easy to follow. I built mine yesterday and it is a beautiful. I am redoing my office, so I got this. The locks on the filling cabinet drawers are good enough to keep the drawers shut however if someone really wants in then it won't be hard to get the drawers open. It is very sturdy and the esthetic is wonderful. Over all I would recommend this and I would buy again. Hopefully it will last a long time.

Product came earlier than expected, which is great! Opened the box and pulled out all the materials, and everything was there. I opened the instruction manual, and over half of it was missing. It skips from page 4 to page 13. The first step listed is step 17. I looked all over the internet to find digital instructions and couldn’t find any. Would love to give a review based on it being built, but sadly I can’t. There are to many different bolts and screws to try and just figure it out myself.UPDATE: The seller was able to send me digital instructions. I was able to install, and it looks great!

This file cabinet was exactly as described, and looks really great once it is assembled. The assembly is no joke… It took a really long time because each piece has to be put together. It wasn’t hard at all just time consuming, but once it’s put together, it looks awesome and it’s very sturdy! We purchased two and you can assemble them either way to have the tall piece either on the right or left. Really happy with our purchase.

The only reason I’m not returning this is because I took 3 hours assembling and will not waste more time taking it apart. My final straw was installing the lock mechanism. The pre drilled holes were barely pre drilled which caused me to strip the hole and the locks won’t screw in. Before that, I had to take different pieces apart multiple times and put them back together in a different order from the instructions in order for everything to fit together. I’ve assembled lots of (cheap) furniture and never written a review. That’s how bad this is. Don’t waste your time or money.

I mistakenly ordered the wrong size cabinet. I wanted the 43" inch wide legal size drawer and shelf. By the time I had the box cut open so I could carry a few pieces at a time up the hillside and back stairs to my apartment I suddenly realized something was wrong, and it was too late to try and re-package all the tiny pieces and return. And the color of the wood is much darker than the photographs. I still have it and will eventually put it together and use it anyway, but I'm not really happy.
