The best work shoe
I work in a school Cafeteria; the kitchen is a hard on the feet and knees. I did a lot of looking for no slip kitchen shoes. I decided to take a chance and spend a little more money than normal. I'm so glad I did. my first pair of Keen work shoes lasted me all school year and would have taken me into the next year, but I decided to order another pair. My feet NEVER hurt me. I have talk to other women about theses shoes and they decided to get them. They do feel a bit weird at the toe because of the toe guard thing but after 2/3 days you get used to it. These shoes are true to size and last. I will never buy a different work shoe.

Great for long days on your feet!
I work in a restaurant, 50+ hours a week, and spend a lot of time on my feet. I am required to wear black slip resistant shoes, and it is hard to find quality AND comfort. These shoes offer both. When I tried them on for the first time, I was a little discouraged because they felt tight. Then I realized I literally JUST got home from spending 10 full hours on my feet and they were a bit swollen. I put them on again the next day and they felt great. They had wonderful heel support which I am not used to, and extra cushion in the arches. The soles are wide and very slip resistant. More so than most others I have tried. I had a day off of before I got to wear these to work so I wore them out to lunch to break them in. They looked adorable with my jeans and I am actually considering buying a second pair. If not for that, to have a backup for work. As I said, quality and comfort are hard to find. In all black slip resistant shoes.

Runs small low arch support lightweight
I found a good deal on my size 9.5 in womens for $50 I was very excited. Was sad when they were too small. I have never had any brand of shoe that was too small at size 9.5. With some brands I even wear a 9. Occasionally I wear a 10 if a brand doesn’t offer half sizes. The arch support was lacking which was another disappointment.Toebox space was good for me width wise and the shoes seemed good otherwise. Obviously it would not work for me and I won’t be spending $100 on a shoe that doesn’t have the arch support I want. But the style looked good. Not too “ugly”. I work at a more fine dining type of restaurant and these would have looked good for that. Lightweight, seemed like they would be easy to keep clean and the non slip seemed fine but I wasn’t able to test that aspect adequately since I only tried them on briefly at home.

Not what they used to be like
I have worn my shoes now for over a month. I tried to see if they just need broken in. That is definitely not the case. They are horrible shoes. It's really sad because 5 years ago, these shoes were top of the line.I even tried a pair on at the shoe store to see if it was just the shoes I purchased. Not the case, they are all fitting very strange now and very uncomfortable.

Don't miss the Amazon return date!
If you are a fan of Keen for the same reasons I am, you might be disappointed with this shoe. The characteristic wide toe box is not there. In fact, the whole shoe is pretty narrow. They are cushy on the inside, but my insole started peeling up after the first 4 or 5 times I wore them. They take a long time to get anywhere near comfortable. I do like the higher heel-- it helps with posture. I have not had a chance to test the slip resistance. Mine squeak, but I do not know if that is habitual or not.

Great work shoe!
This shoe is non slip and wears well. Very good work shoe for the money.

Disappointing
Keen must have changed their shoes somehow. I have purchased previous pairs of these shoes and been very happy with the comfort level. This time however was a very different experience. The foot bed itself feels like they put a board in for cushioning and they are very tight. I would say that that keens are no longer worth the money. Back to the drawing board for comfortable work shoes

best professional kitchen shoes I've had in my 26 years of cooking.
if you work in a restaurant then you know how fast shoes fall apart, how important having nonslip soles that actually work are and everything else that kitchen shoes say they offer and often don't. these have been the most comfortable and the best quality work shoes I've ever owned. I've been wearing them for over a year and there are no rips, no separation along the sole and they are still comfortable to wear. common knowledge states that kitchen shoes need to be replaced every 6 months. these have lasted twice that time and are still going strong. I absolutely recommend purchasing these shoes if you work in a professional kitchen.

such a comfortable shoe
Keens are by far my favorite work shoe. This is my second pair, I also have a pair of slip on ones but they got quite loose once the leather broke in, which is why I thought I would try a lace up version......... Added bonus, not only do they not slip in kitchens ( oil and grease ) they don't slip on ice outside, making them an excellent winter shoe.

Uncomfortable
I usually love keens and have owned numerous pairs but these are the worst shoes I've owned. My feet hurt so bad everyday. Very disappointed.
