MonstrumRuckus (e) 4X Prism Scope with Electronic Button Control and Shake Awake | BDC Reticle

This is a very well made prism scope for the price point. Glass is very clear and the body is robust. As expected, it mounts significantly higher than your iron sights. I really wanted this product to work for my intended application (marlin 1894 sbl 44mag) but unfortunately it doesn't. The eye relief is only 2.75 - 2.5in, 2.5in being the sweet spot, at least, for my right eye. If I intend to use this prism scope, I would have to intentionally move my head significantly forward and be at a unnatural aiming position. For scale/ measurement, the viewing lens is at about 0.25in before the end tip of the hammer. LPVO usually go further back, extending pass the hammer. Hope this review is helpful.

It's heavy, but very well built and constructed

The scope seems to be of good quality and I really like the sight picture through it. I've included photos attempting to show the reticle as well as what the green color looks like against a green forest background. Unfortunately, my photos are not great, but I believe they convey the information well enough. I found the reticle to suit my preferences very well. I really like the color as well as the shape of the reticle which is very familiar to me. It allows for quick target acquisition and good sight picture. If these things sound good to you then I would easily recommend it. I have not tested it with heavy recoil firearms however, so please read the specifications to make sure it will work for your particular needs

I can not say enough about the clarity and solid build the unit itself provides. Absolutely love the ease of set up, very detailed and well thought out design. Went to the range within three rounds on target. I have put nearly a hundred rounds down range and it has been rock solid. It is A must have for aging eyes. Very clear and awesome value for the money, simply can’t not beat this device at its price point. In my opinion Monstrum Tactical has really gone above and beyond the extra mile with this optic. The green reticle during a bright sunny day gets a bit washed but really there is no need to use it during daylight hours. The etched chevron works incredibly well. I had no problems adjusting windage or horizontal rise or drops. Tourette’s are very smooth and tactile. The optic comes in one color option and looks perfect. Surprisingly clear glass for an optic at this price pointNot as bright as PA optics but this is 1/3 the cost. Have not had a chance to sight in yet but I see no issues at this timeEye relief is on par with my other micro prisms. Build quality is very good

You would expect the 4x to be "better" than the 3x. However, that isn't the case here. I've reviewed the 3x of this as well and the my main criticism of that optic and this optic is the same: the relief isn't workable in real world situations.This 4x provides an even more troublesome relief and if you must decide between the 2, the 3x has a more workable relief than this one which I found to be much pickier.Clarity is good but not great (3.5 stars).Site obstruction, on the other is excellent, with one of the smaller "black rings" I've seen yet.Weight is also fine, but on par with standard lens optics.

This thing is built very well and has a crystal clear glass! The brightness is great and the reticle is everything I hoped it would be! I have many scopes, red dots & magnifiers, pistol red dots from major brands , this is my first prizm scope, and I will say I am very happy with this optic!

The changing of colors is nice. I use this outdoors and you can see the color of the reticle that much depending on the sun
