UPDATE: I am updating my review because the Seller got in contact with me and sent me out a replacement. The replacement works and is beautiful! I still do not feel it is worth $30 but it looks great on my Dad's graveI purchased this book on April 20th … i put it in the yard 2 weeks ago and it only worked 6 days before it would not cut on anymore … I thought it might be the battery or maybe it was not getting enough light as I have a ton of solar items in my yard … so I moved it to get direct sunlight and waited 2 days … it still does not cut on … so I purchased the exact size and type battery to replace thinking it was that …well I put the battery in something else to make sure it worked … it does … then I put it in the book … book did not cut on but I thought let’s let it charge … it’s been two days in direct sunlight and still will not cut on … so I took battery out and put it in something else to make sure battery was not dead .., it worked fine … so it’s the solar book that is not working … contacted seller who I explained all of this too and they state they will send me a replacement. Do I discarded the broken book … then he states that I have to send the book back in a separate email… like why tell me that after you told me you would send replacement! I had already thrown the book away … stated this to the seller and now crickets … I will never purchase from this seller again …Also this book is not worth $10 much less $30 … paint is chipped and I would not buy it had I seen it in the store … DO NOT BUY FROM THIS SELLER!

My solar cute house is adorable & colorful! It’s something I picture the 7 Dwarfs living in lol! It’s not as big as I would like, however big & bright enough to see in my garden that has Fairies of different sizes & colors purchased from Amazon! I haven’t been disappointed in any of the 20 or more solar lit Fairies, Elephants, 2 Birdbaths, (1 is blue glass solar)! Of course I had to get spotlights, etc. this well made sturdy house has outdoor decor like a garden with flowers & grass & a pretty mushroom & butterflies! It came perfectly packaged, just like all the items I ordered. I was lucky not one thing came with any broken parts & all solar lights work! I very much enjoy sitting out & my little world goes from seeing my plants & decor change into a beautiful light show at dusk! If any of the items catch your eye, read all the info & instructions then buy what you think will be perfect & pretty at your home!!

These are really cute, but if you want to put them facing out from the edge of a flower garden, think again. Since the battery is near the bottom on the back of the statue, the plants will shade it. It should be near the top at the front. Wouldn't it be nice if the fairies had solar panels on their roofs?That said, if you put them someplace where they aren't shaded they do have a nice soft glow at night -- not nearly as much as shown in the pictures, but still pretty. Maybe larger lights/batteries are needed as well as different battery placement.

Mom bought a couple and she put hers in her raised flower bed on her patio. This is well made and pretty. At night it lights up and looks good. Something different and unique. Also makes great gifts for your religious family members or friends.
