Just what we needed!
This was perfect fit for our above ground pool.Took seconds to switch over and install.It is strong and a good quality piece.Our other inlet would suction things to it, this does not.However we cannot hook our vacuum up to it like the old one, so we have to run another line and a switch.Overall it is performing well and looks much sleeker than our old one.We are hapoy!

Pool upgrade
I added a skimmer to our pool and no longer needed the 2 factory water inlets. I used this to change the inlet to a output. Now I have 3 water jets that provide better watter circulation and the pool stays cleaner with less effort. Easy to swap and mounts exactly like the orginal screen style port.
