I like this flashlight. It has a zoom which is a nice feature, so you can get a wide area or a spotlight concentrated light. The tighter the zoom it goes down, the brighter and further it will shine, the wide one is great for places like in the attic or getting around the house in a blackout, and the zoom is great for distance or if you just need a brighter light. It is variable, so you can adjust easily to your needs. There is an included rechargeable battery, and a smaller regular battery holder, so if your out, and your battery dies, you can switch out (if you keep a couple of AAA batteries handy), so you will still be able to use the light until you get to a charging source. I haven't had the need to re-charge it yet, so I can't comment on how long that takes, but I wouldn't think it would be too lone, compared to similar batteries. The whole lot comes in a nice snap down green plastic case that holds all the chargers and the battery, and both the case and flashlight have cords to hang it on something if needed. They don't show the case in the description, but it is similar to other flashlights they have. For the cost, it is a great flashlight. Cheap enough that if it ever gets lost or broken in some way, it's not a huge expense to get another. In fact, I might just get another one or two for other areas of the house, so it will always be handy.
