Unlike our other designs the slots on these are not open ended and create a pocket of cooler air which helps cool the brake pad surface. It is advisable that these discs are fitted with medium to hard brake pad compounds to achieve best results. Previously Evora 40G rotors had 20 x 6mm slots which generated more noise than what was desirable so in a response to combat this we reduced the slot width.
