A lovely book that offers beautifully enticing photos of Pierre Sauvage's three homes - one in Paris, the other two in the French countryside. Rich and saturated colors are imaginatively conveyed through paint, upholstery, tableware and rugs - many of these elements created by author.It is a joy to relax, absorb the photographs and read the Pierre Sauvage's ideas about decor, entertaining and having a happy life. And there are some appealing recipes that reflect the "Effortless Style" of the title.

Not a book on interior design or decoration
If you are interested in learning how an unknown french guy lives in each of his three homes, and what recipes his friends like to cook, maybe you'll enjoy this book. If you like interior design and are serious about it, don't waste your money like I just did.Now I'm trying to look for some lady friend I can give this book as a gift for Christmas.
