This product worked so much better than I expected. The leather started to turn an orange color and this product put it back to the original look. Definitely trust the process the first coat will look streaky but once you have 2 to 3 coats it will look amazing.

Well, the proof is in the pictures. We bought my daughter a used car and one of the only things that brought it down was the steering wheel. It was very scratched up for some reason.I washed the leather with isopropyl alcohol (70%) first to get off any oils and dirt. This also dry's fast so I could continue with the coloring in just a few min. Temperature was about 80F, and I had the car in the shade with the doors open for a breeze.Before I started I put on a set of automotive style rubber gloves. I used a razor blade to cut off the foil that seals the container.I used the supplied round pad instead of the sponge, I felt that the sponge would be too large to get into small places. Starting out I used a very small amount of the black dye and using their suggestion, dabbed it onto the leather. This worked out very well, just pouncing my way along doing about a 3 inch section at a time, all the way around. I did have to use more that I thought I would, as it soaked right into the leather nicely. The dabbing helps distribute the thick dye evenly, I would move only about 1/4 inch at a time between dabs. Once the pad got somewhat loaded with the dye I didn't need to go back to the container as often.I was surprised, pleasantly, on how fast the dye started setting up and drying. Within about 1/2 hour you could drive the car, and no black dye would come off on your hands. It was a warm dry day so that may have helped. I only put on "1 coat" although I did go back and add more to particular areas as I did the wheel. We will let this coat cure for a week and than I will see if I want to add another coat for durability.I am very pleased this worked so well. I don't know how this will hold up long term, but even if you had to do it every year there is plenty of dye in this container, you could probably do 1000 wheels. I only used maybe a half teaspoon for this wheel.I highly recommend.

It’s easy to use looks great highly recommend this. It looks new again.The only request is the sponge supplied is not adequate it started to break apart and flakeI used one that had a harder backing on it that was great. Other than that the product rocks 👍

Une seule couche a permis de maintenir la même couleur du cuir d’origine. Celle-ci a fait disparaître les petite marques. Deux couche ont foncé la couleur. La couleur tan est devenu davantage brune. Cette deuxième couche a permis de faire disparaître les plus grosses marques sur le cuir.
