Beck/Arnley 201-2040 Wiper Switch

Saved me money and time. Works well months later.

Beck/Arnley 201-2040 Wiper Switch was a good choice to replace a broken wiper switch on my 1999 Honda Civic LX. After watching YouTube how to videos on the ins and outs of replacing my broken switch, this choice worked and looked like the factory switch I replaced. It was easy to install and worked great.

Installed Wiper switch to my 1997 Honda Civic, looks identical to an OEM part. Quick easy install and perfect fitment do recommend it.

Part fit like original and has lasted a couple of years.

This is a great item, for a great price and easy to install! It only took me about 5 minutes for total installation.

I bought this when the original switch would no longer activate to washer fluid pump. It works well in my 1998 Honda Civic EX. It in not as "smooth" as the original...ie when you twist it to turn on the wipers, it feels a bit gritty, but it works and the price was much better than the dealership wanted for an original part.

I have a 99 Civic Dx Hb with a wiper switch that originally broke during spray mode (Pull forward), but thought that it was not a big deal to manually push it back to turn it off (vs just letting go). This technique worked for me for a few months, but when I went to turn on the wipers during a brief storm, the switch broke even more and now the wipers just stayed on. After removing the wiper fuse and having to reinsert it a few more times for storms, I bit the bullet and looked up a replacement switch and a how to video. Parts stores were charging double and more for what I paid for this item (Honda wanted even more), so I looked it up on Amazon. The part is a direct and easy replacement for my broken one, however, as I have a Hatchback, I can no longer use the rear wiper and washer functions. This is likely due to hatchbacks having been less popular at the time and it being more costly to have that version's switch available too. I could have gotten the exact replacement elsewhere, but I was not willing to pay the over 150 for it! Again, this item so far is 5 stars, but be aware that it is missing the second set of controls for the rear wiper. Also, the speed settings on the new switch seem to be a bit slower too, but not really an issue.
