Fun toy
This toy is so cute, and offers a great way to incorporate sensory play. I am using this in my speech therapy setting. The Play foam compound is like sticky styrofoam beads and can be molded into different shapes. The kit contains little plastic sushi molds, trays, chopsticks, and plastic sushi toppings. There are also recipe cards that you can follow, which is great for following directions. The box doubles as a sushi restaurant backdrop. This set offers lots of fun pretend play opportunities and our 9 year old has enjoyed playing with it, as well. Some downsides:- it can be hard to get the play foam back out of the molds, especially for younger children- if the play foam gets mixed, the colors can’t be separated- if the play foam drops on the floor, dirt will stick to it and you can’t clean it- compound is not eco-friendlyOverall, this is a cute and fun play set.

Hands-On Fun with an Educational Twist!
The Sushi Shop toy is a delightful, hands-on game that has quickly become a favorite in our household. While it's designed for preschoolers, the truth is, it's fun for any age! We primarily use it to help our little one learn shapes and colors while engaging in a tactile, hands-on activity, and it's been a hit.The Playfoam used to create the "sushi" is squishy, colorful, and a lot of fun to shape and mold. It's great for imaginative play, and the soothing texture adds a sensory element that keeps our child engaged for long stretches of time. The game is versatile, allowing you to play independently or race against another player to complete the sushi orders. The order cards are a nice touch, helping kids practice counting, shapes, and patterns as they try to match the designs.Assembly was straightforward, but I did notice a small discrepancy in the instructions—there were 10 stickers instead of the 8 mentioned. It's a minor issue and doesn't affect the overall play experience, but it's something to be aware of.What I appreciate most is how this toy subtly reinforces fine motor skills. The easy-squeeze chopsticks are perfect for little hands, helping our child develop dexterity while having fun. The game structure also allows for creativity and self-expression, which is always a plus in educational toys.If you're looking for a way to keep your kiddo busy and entertained while sneaking in some learning, the Sushi Shop is a solid choice.Hey there! If you're reading this, it means we both value reviews before making a purchase. Regardless of whether I bought the item or received it for review, rest assured, my feedback is genuine, based on actual use and performance observations. I'm committed to providing straightforward, honest, and helpful reviews. While a 5-star review represents near perfection, a 4-star rating from me signifies a very good product with some room for improvement. (It's still a solid endorsement!) A perfect score is reserved for truly flawless items. Thanks for trusting my review to guide your decision.

Very much enjoyed!
Very much enjoyed this set! I am a daycare teacher and we use this game as a reward game. If your behavior is good that day you are able to pick a game to play, and they kids are always reaching for this one. They kids enjoy using the mold and mixing the colors together, they can play for hours. Even those who do not even know what sushi is get a kick out of this. A great toy for creativity and sensory play, we are very happy with it, 5 stars!

This little set is great for kids who love slime and floam! They had a great time setting everything up and playing with it! It kept them busy for hours and the whole set seemed pretty safe for young children! Overall, I am happy with my order and would definitely recommend this set!

Awesome gift for the sushi loving kid!
There's a neat concept at play here: combining a puzzle with sensory/tactile modeling/whatever you call it compound use. It's also sushi themed, which is super unique and awesome. The foam itself is just as I remember it. There are small amounts of a few colours provided in the kit. Couple the colours with the shape containers that serve as... sushi molds for lack of better words, and the toppings, and you have a colour, shape, and pattern matching game (there are cards that you can provide for kids to recreate or you can race to complete cards first).Using the included chopsticks also helps develop hand-eye coordination and dexterity.
