Look, when the lady of the house sees I can snag her a bottle of a "high-end" scent for her to try, you'd best believe I'll do it to keep myself in her good graces. Usually, I find myself benefitting from this decision because it makes her happy AND it usually makes her and the rest of the house smell good by association.In this case though, I'll be honest and say I've liked many of the scents she's picked up by manufacturers that charge far less per ounce more than this one. Mostly because for what this is going for ($142 at time of review) it's not particularly memorable or notable. Vanilla and sandalwood sounds like a winning combination but it's really quite 'meh'. Yeah, there are floral notes (which she loves) but if you ask me to try to describe or even identify the "ambery" element I am at a total loss for words.I'm not even sure what Ambery is supposed to imply in terms of a scent, and even after looking it up, I'm not sure my nose was really picking it up. Maybe it's because I DID recognize the Vanilla and Sandalwood and so my nose just focused on the scents it recognized? I don't know, but again I wasn't particularly impressed when it was all said and done.Personally, I've liked some of her more general perfume scents from more basic designers versus this ritzier one.***Overall Value***Maybe I'm just too unsophisticated to appreciate it, but for $142 (at the time of review) I doubt I'm the only one in that boat.

I am in love. Has a nice floral scent and stays on for long periods of time. The bottle design is giving rich, I definitely rccomend

Very pretty bottle. As far as the scent on me I do pick up the flowers but it doesn't necessarily smell like jasmine to me. It then settled into a very woody/incense heavy scent. It made me think of something someone older would wear. The scent itself is not for me, but it is a well made perfume.

It saddens me this bottle came to after its prime. Known for its smell of floral and soft sweetness this one came to me sour and bitter. A year after its creation. A mesmerizing bottle is all there is to boast about.
