Bright and garage coverage is excellent!

This motion sensor garage light is exactly what I needed. My garage is long but narrow and we mainly use it for storage with the back part rarely used except when I need to access the snowblower or other equipment, or to check my heating oil tanks. I had removed the light bulb from that back area because I usually only need light in the front when working in the garage, but it was a pain having to put the light back for those few occasions when I did have to access the back. This motion sensor light solved my issue.This light is simple but works great. You just need to screw it into a regular E26 light socket, and it's all set to work as a motion sensor light. There is a switch on the light so you can set it to always on or off, but it comes preset to motion detect which is most likely how anyone will be using this light. The light has eight LED panels each of which you can arrange independently to direct light wherever you want. There is also a center and downward pointed LED section around the motion sensor as a nineth light panel. Altogether, the light offers bright lighting throughout.The motion sensor works well, although the detection range is somewhat narrow. I found that I had to be almost directly under the light for it to come on. My garage ceiling is not very high so it is likely that with a high ceiling the detection range will expand outwards. For my application this is actually perfect as I only need the light to come on when I am under it. Also, when you initially turn power on to the light with the wall switch, this light will come on for 15 seconds and then go off if it down not detection motion. When it detects motion, it will come on and stay on for 1 minute after motion is no longer detected.As mentioned, the light is simple. There is no remote and there are no adjustments to brightness, how long it stays on, color temperature, etc. The only adjustments are the direction of the light panels. On the other hand, it works great and is perfect for many applications especially if you just want a light that you put in and don't want to worry about tweaking or losing the remote, which is what happened to a previous LED multipaneled light I had previously. Excellent, simple LED garage light, recommended!

Would have given 5 stars, except motion sensor only goes off when you're about 3-5 feet away. I wish it would activate sooner, 10 feet would be nice. Light is very bright.

Purchased product based on reviews and fact that cheapest motion detector lights last a very short time so spent more money hoping for better results. Installed on 8.26.24 and motion detector failed to work on 9.16.24. Removed and installed in different socket and motion detector still not working. Doubt I get any warranty out of it without a battle. Do not buy!

Installed this in my garage. Really not installed, but just screws in like a regular light bulb. Very bright light. I need to get another one to replace the other light. If you don't like your current overhead lights and the light they produce then you'll love this light. Unique design. Your garage will be super lit up.

I have a work bench in my dimly lit garage which makes it tough to work on things. I have a little shop light that I have had for years but still find many times that I need more light. I found this light on Amazon and thought that it should help brighten my little shop area, and it DID!It easily screws right into the light bulb socket and it has a switch on it for either - always on, off, or motion sense. I just have it on the ON switch so anytime I turn on my garage lights it stays on for me. I love the fact that it has "fins" that can be tilted to provide the optimal lighting for my area. I now have no issues with seeing things on my bench and little projects have been much easier to accomplish as a result. I highly recommend this light to anyone who needs it.

I love the brightness of this light and for the first 24 hours it functioned flawlessly. but today the second day I’ve had it. I noticed when I went out into the garage that the light was already on, so I looked on my cameras and seen that it has been on for hours. Yes, I know that the infrared light from the night vision of the cameras could set it off, so I have that disabled. Check to make sure the motion switch was set to the correct setting. It is. But the light is not going off when there is no motion near it.Edit: after turning off power to the unit for an hour or so, and turning it back on it began operating correctly. There is some issue in the logic circuits for the motion sensor that gets reset after it loses power for a bit of time.

Super easy to install and the payoff is high! I could never achieve the brightness of this light with regular light bulbs. It functions better than any regular light I could put in my garage. It looks high tech, too. Very happy with this order.
