BLACK+DECKER Hedge Trimmer with Saw, 20-Inch, Corded (BEHTS300)

This comes almost completely assembled. You have to put the handle and guard on which can be slightly tricky if you're in a hurry. I do recommend a good Phillips screwdriver for the five screws. It may also be wise to make sure you have a new extension cord. Once I put the handle on I went right to work. My bushes were way overgrown but this Black & Decker cut right through the mess and left it looking really nice. It worked really great for me and the cost was the lowest by far. Even the national hardware stores with my Veteran's discount were no where near the low price I paid here.. I included picture of my before and after. It did a fantastic job making my work easier. I'm still not done but you can see that this hedge trimmer can handle the big jobs.

Although this is not for heavy duty use, it does meet my expectations and do work well on brush trimming.

Arrived today and I trimmed the large tree/hedge by myself. Given I was quoted about 500 USD for a contractor to do the job .... it has certainly been worthwhile. Trimmer is very light weight and easy to use. The little saw blade at the tip is not much use but the trimming blade is great.

After using it several times, it runs like a champ and trims perfectly. Great purchase, good value.

These were a good, reasonably priced investment. Handy for trimming hedges and bushes. Not 5 stars because it's just a bit awkward twisting in different angles and avoiding slicing thru the extension cord at times, but that's trade-off for not being cordless (and much more expensive).
