I’ve had this hotshot for about six months and it’s awesome, I hit my cows with it and anyone drunk roping at my place. It does hold a charge after you use it so if you touch both prongs after you’ve used it it has a small spark still left in it so be careful if your kind of a sissy

I have two large dogs (over 50 pounds) that occasionally fight a few times a year. This was safe to use to get them to stop when I’m by myself. 4 stars instead of five because my German shepherd did turn and bite the stick the first time and the metal actually bent. So I think the metal could be sturdier quality but it’s effective.

We brought this because of lose dogs attacking our dogs while walking them. It works like a charm
