Q: are there larger glass plates? im looking for some about 6" by 4" at least

United Scientific does have a larger glass plate at 6" x 6", but it is only 2 mm thick (this one is 1/4" thick- or 6.35 mm). I do have another manufacturer that makes 6" x 6" plate glass in 1/4" thickness (Also in 1/8" and 1/2" thickness). It is not currently available through Amazon, but if you would like to make a purchase, we can list it for you- just let us know.

Q: Are these coated with anything or just plain glass?

They appear to be plain glass--there does not appear to be a coating of any kind.

Q: I need a single piece of 1/2" thick glass, the exact size isn't critical, 2"x2" would be great, can you supply this?

The only glass plate we have that is that thick is 6"x 6"- Please search Amazon ASIN# B01MS3R8VD or Part# CG-1904-18. Hope this helps!

I measured 3 out of 10 plates, with inexpensive vernier caliper at 7/32nds. 1/32 less than 1/4 in.
