Not 21 speed bike technically
There are 3 pedal gears and 7 rear wheel gears which would make it a 21 speed but the derailleur is actually a 6 speed not a 7 speed, so depending on the position of the 3 pedal shifter gears it can either skip over gear 2 in the rear and go straight to gear 1 or gear skips 6 and goes straight to gear 7. Could be replaced with a 7 speed derailleur but basically a little false advertising. Other than that the bike is solid no issues yet. Was fairly easy to assemble and looks great.

OK for a budget bike
Had an issue with the brakes cable/lever, adjuster stripped. Never could get any real solution, and was suggested by seller to take it to a bike shop for repair and reimbursement. Estimates were around 75% of purchase price, and couldn't get commitment of payment from seller. Ended repairing as best I could. Functioning OK but not what you'd hope for the cost and all being new. Overall a good bike, for the balance of cost, vs features.

Good so far
Let me first say. I'm an entry-level rider with very little mountain bike experience. I live in a medium-sized neighborhood; I wanted a bike to ride in the neighborhood and do occasional off-road riding. A bike that offered very good stability and control.I have never assembled a bike before, but I was able to assemble this one quite easily. The instructions were a bit confusing, because instructions are included for several different versions of the bike, but once I acclimated to which instructions were applicable to me, it wasn't very hard. Assembly really only entailed attaching the handlebars, seat and pedals, and front wheels. All of the gear mechanism was already assembled, but you can adjust it according to your needs(I recommend you watch the video on YouTube). So far, I'm completely satisfied with this purchase!
