SolaMr Upgraded 20A 50V MPPT Solar Charge Controller 12V/24V, LCD Screen Solar Panel Controller with Dual USB Port for Gel Sealed Flooded and Lithium LiFePO4 Battery (GM20A)

I'm running this externally mounted on a battery box as part of a home-made solar charging station setup. So far it's done exactly what I needed, which is provide a solar charge controller for 100-200 watt panels. It's a little large in size for this application if you don't have a decent amount of extra space in the battery box, but my battery box was too small to begin with so I just mounted it external. Tested during a bright sunny day on a 100W panel and was getting 19V input at 4 Amps. Can't beat that!

Using this is conjunction with 3 100 watt panels, a 100ah battery and a 750 watt inverter to run my 8×12 shed. Just lights, plugs and security stuff. Old blur style cheap controller wouldn't work so bought this one. Its working, has great features and looks like a quality build. Instructions are vague but anyone with some knowledge can navigate it. For the money it's a value. Customer service emailed asking if I had any questions, so that's a plus. Time will tell if it works long.

i got a replacement because the first one seem to be resetting every 5 seconds. the replacement runs great. i am using it a 100ah 12v battery and 2 100w solar panels. i probably need a couple more panels but for now it keeps the battery charged and i get to hook up a few usb devices and my laptop

Hard to read small display. Instructions not clrar. Returned. It would not charge after hours wasted.

I'm using this charge controller with 4x 12v100 watt solar panels (48v open). 2x in parallel and then series to create 48v 400watts. 14gauge wire and smaller works fine. The charger works well with the LiFEPO4 battery to charge and supply power to devices even when there is no solar charge occurring. The display cycles through all the vitals of input and output voltage and current. The only thing missing for me is wattage in and wattage out. (I know it can be calculated, but...) It's a value that is constantly changing on the display so it would be nice to see apples to apples in and out watts.I would buy it again if I had the need.

Recently installed. Sturdy unit with generous connection terminals (the previous controller which this unit replaced had weak and terribly undersized connection points). Metal base with two cooling fans. SolaMr cares about the products they sell and makes good effort to help with proper install. SolaMr clearly wants to satisfy their customers. I recommend highly.

En cuanto a su función cumple lo que promete, tengo un panel de 585W a 50V y 10A como maximo, y antes tenia un PWM de 45A pero solo aprovechava como maximo 10A a 13.4V, con este mppt ha subido el Amperaje hasta unos 20A no ha subido mas porque no ha necesitado ya que la bateria la carga bastante rapido y le he puesto cargas y el mppt mantiene su potencia de manera eficiente segun este las condiciones.Por otro lado si se hecho en falta que no tenga la pantalla retroiluminación, y también algo que me gustaba de mi PWM era que se guardaba los KWh que mi panel ha ido produciendo, en este caso si me muestra, pero no se guarda o acumula, de ahí estoy aprovenchando al 100% la capacidad de mi panel y eso por lo pronto es lo mas importante

Is working well and easy to set up despite a poorly translated instructions however I don’t like the giant size of it, I feel it could’ve been made much smaller considering what’s inside

I like the product and as it is solid and attractive and have been using it for the last few months. It seems that what I am using it for is not the direct application that it was designed for but the description did not mention the purpose it was programmed for. This made it a challenge to set up but I was able to get it to work for my purpose. I was in touch with there tech support which was very helpful. A screw did break during the installation but it was still operable. They offered to replace it but I needed to keep the system operating at that time so I did not return it. I would recommend it as I am sure that any of the issues I had would be dealt with by the seller fairly
