I ordered my regular shoe size and they fit well in my shoes. Took a bit to get used to but after a little while they were very comfortable and I realized my feet weren't hurting as much. The pieces are true to size. The carbon is smooth and the edges trimmed well. The insole pads are quite substantial. These have helped my metatarsalgia on old shoes with intact tread.

They do their job in helping my feet. Yet , I bought these because for being made out of carbon fiber. But when I walk thru metal detectors daily, they will set off the alarm. This puts into question if they are part metal and carbon fiber.

They hold your feet steady, but they don't fit in shoes very well, and so it raises your foot too high in your shoe and pushes you out the top of them, if you have a minimal toe box this will be difficult to use and get in and out if you want to change shoes.
