Works well. Easy to operate
I found this timer easy to use and it worked effectively and efficiently. We planted new grass and I needed to make sure that the seed was watered regularly. This timer did exactly what I wanted it to do. It was easy to set.I do think I would opt for the next level up to get the better fittings - not plastic - but this one does work fine. I just don't know how well it will hold up long term.

A Flexible and Durable Water Timer for Your Garden
This programmable sprinkler timer offers a comprehensive solution for automated garden watering, catering to a wide range of needs with its flexible scheduling options. What I Loved: Versatile Scheduling: The ability to set specific dates, times, and watering frequencies provides incredible control. You can fine-tune your watering schedule to perfectly match your plants' requirements, whether it's daily, weekly, or even hourly watering. Extensive Watering Duration: The adjustable watering time, ranging from 1 minute to 23 hours and 59 minutes, is ideal for accommodating various plant types and soil conditions. Dual Watering Modes: The two watering modes – Hourly and Daytime – cover a wide range of scheduling scenarios, making it suitable for different garden layouts and watering needs. Durable Construction: The IP55 waterproof and UV-resistant coating, along with the added sealing ring on the battery cover, ensure the timer can withstand the elements and remain functional for a long duration. This is crucial for outdoor use where exposure to sun and rain is inevitable.Areas for Improvement: User Interface: While the features are great, the user interface could potentially benefit from more intuitive design for easier navigation and setting adjustments. Some users might find it slightly challenging to grasp all the features at first. Battery Life: While not explicitly mentioned in the provided description, the battery life and type of batteries required could be important information for potential buyers.Overall Impression:This water timer is a valuable tool for anyone seeking to automate and optimize their garden watering. The extensive scheduling options, durable construction, and dual watering modes make it a versatile choice. While the user interface could be improved for better usability, the overall effectiveness and flexibility of this product are undeniable. It's a great investment for maintaining a healthy and thriving garden with minimal effort.Recommendation:If you are looking for a reliable and feature-rich water timer for your garden, I would highly recommend this product. It offers a multitude of scheduling options, durable construction, and the peace of mind that your plants will receive the necessary water, even when you are away.

Auto-watering is nice, but I wish it was easier to just use it as a timer.
I do a _lot_ of watering each week, and a large part of that is running soaker hoses for set amounts of time. I was hoping this would make it really easy to just hit the "go" button, but that's not really what it's designed for. It's more intended for being set up so that you don't _have_ to hit the go button: just leave it on and let it start and stop automatically. While that's laudable, it's not as helpful for me. It was nice to be able to tell it to go for 15 minutes, and then not have to worry about setting a timer, not hearing my timer, "snoozing" the timer and forgetting about it, etc. In the end, it added an extra step to my process, rather than simplifying it, so I'll see what other uses I can think of for it.But the product seems to work just fine, if you're using it how it's intended.
