This thing is sturdy, cheap and grips well.

I do small wood working projects, including building model wooden ships. This vise has been very handy and easy to use. It clamps to the edge of my work table and I can easily move it if I don't need to use it. I like the ability to tilt the vise to work on my projects at different angles. It frequently serves as a third hand for me in holding parts during assembly. I did a lot of searching for a vise before I decided on this one. For me it was the right choice. It provides the right size and versatility I was looking for in a hobby vise. The 360 degree rotating head and the rubber covered jaws make it easy to manipulate my work and protect it from marks. I don't anticipate the need to replace this vise, but if I ever do need a replacement, I would buy this one again.

Use this in place of the traditional stitching pony. Much more stable, better quality than the wooden alternatives found online. Clamps right to our kitchen table (where I do most of my leatherworking). Satisfied overall.

The vise arrived in German packaging but is manufactured in China. Exactly as advertised and very solid, however it was very poorly assembled. I had to whack the ball down into the collar with a hammer after partially disassembling and tighten other various screws and bolts.Works great now, however: Would give it five stars had it not been for these issues...

The media could not be loaded. Upon setting up the vice the ball joint popped out of the socket and would not stay in when I put it back in.Do not buy ! Poorly assembled and you get what you pay for 15.00 is too cheap for a decent vice.

but I pretty much do. Two of my hobbies are watches and table top gunsmithing. When I need three hands or need to hold something steady tho I have to use a variety of clamps and vise grips etc.. This is compact enough and has enough range of adjustment to be very useful to me... for not a lot of money. For context I also have a couple of those magnifying all position lights for such work. I really really like adjustability.I might add that the price for this is amazing. The entire body is powder coated except the threads which are galvanized. Been using this a while and could not be happier. I will mention tho that you can use this right out of the box but threads and swivel are..... 'rough' and have no lubrication I can see.. as you use it tho they will 'mate' up but me being me... I used red grease on the threads and swivel and ran everything through its full length of motion. Now mine is smooth as silkOne potential and annoying problem is that the lock that holds the swing swivel has the lever/lock on the bottom but the end of it is a button smooth head. Once you tighten it to secure the swivel it may (mine did) simply turn the whole lock instead of loosening and freeing the swivel. My solution was epoxy around the button head but I also ground a slot in it for a screwdriver if needed in the future.

I bought this purely to be able to hold my smaller firearms when doing stuff especially when I want to do very small work. This little vice worked perfectly, it attaches to my desk easily, holds steadfast and also holds what I want, for the price it does what I needed.

Fast delivery. I'd watched a couple of videos showing this product so was pleased to receive the same item. Works well as a third hand for soldering and stronger than expected. Should've bought one ages ago... !
