Great little Drive
It can play my DVDs smoothly. The product supports Blu-ray. Blu-ray requires me to install special software. The current functions are sufficient. I will consider installing it when I use Blu-ray discs later.

Not Reliable
Worked twice and it seemed to work fine straight off my Mac. Next few times it just didn't read any disks and it still doesn't work. Even plugging it directly into mains power doesn't help. it just sits there, spins the disk up and does nothing. Naturally, because I don't need to read disks every day the return window has closed. I chose this because of the reviews but, in my case, they were not as accurate as I would have hoped.

Excellent Quality and Functionality
The external USB CD/DVD read/write drives have been available for a decade or more. I have several now. I like this one best.

Work
I was impressed with this blu ray drive. The usb cable is attached and hides neatly in the bottom. I plugged it into the usb port,, loaded a blu ray disc, then it started up immediately.
