Wish I bought this sooner
I’ve had my Oura ring for about 2 weeks now, and so far I love it. I bought a “random” cheaper ring first, because the price tag and subscription for Oura turned me off, but the other one didn’t work. I returned it and figured I’d try this.First off, get the sizing kit. If you try to guess based off of other rings, you’ll probably be disappointed. I sized it off of my pointer finger, with the intent to move it to smaller fingers as I start losing weight. (I have no interest in having to buy multiple rings if I can avoid it.) It can be worn on either hand, so I have lots of options to swap too as I hit my goals. The ring isn’t tiny, but it’s not obstructive. I’ve gotten used to it and it doesn’t bother me at all. I can shower with it on, wash my hands, go swimming…all the things. As for the tech and the app, super user friendly and easy to use. Everything is pretty intuitive and the data that doesn’t automatically make sense comes with explanations. You can see how everything ties together. Its predictive nature is also 2-for-2 for me. It’s reads your data in its entirety and tells you when things are a little off. I got a warning one morning when I woke up, and spiked a fever that evening. It’s also accurately predicted the timing of other things that women may find useful. One of the main reasons for me getting the Oura was to track sleep. In my opinion, it’s been pretty spot on. If I feel like I’ve laid in bed all night staring at the ceiling, my data matches that. If I feel like I passed out as soon as my head hit the pillow, the data matches it. When I wake up feeling super refreshed, and check the app, it says I slept well. When I wake up feeling like crap, surprise! The app says I slept horribly. From there, it sets your activity target for the day - based on how rested your body is.All in all, I am very happy with my purchase. Only regret is that I spent so long deciding if I really wanted it or not. But, I guess the good thing is that it seems like this model (Oura 4) has fixed a lot of problems some of the older models had. Definitely recommend!

I love it!!!
I have a samsung watch but decided to try the Oura ring. I love it. The app seems to provide much more information, especially after you have worn in a few months because it detects trends and tells you about them. The worst thing about it is if you buy it because you want to lose weight, you can quickly start dropping ring sizes if you are starting out with a LOT of weight to lose. Definitely start with the sizing kit and keep an eye on your return window. If you drop a ring size, return it and buy the next lower size. Once you pass that window, you will have the option to move to the next biggest finger. I dropped two ring sizes in 60 days. I might have one more decrease left in my then I will move to index or middle finger most likely. The charge on size 11 will last five, maybe six days ith O2 sensor activated. I think it does better at recording accurate sleep than my watch does but i still wear them both and compare. It is supper easy to use and the quality and design of the ring are excellent. It has received some pretty big blows and it still looks brand new. I only wish they had a program to exchange it for weight loss. The ring doesn't get much of the credit for losing weight but i think it definitely helps. I"m also not a fan of paying for the app but i do think it is much better than samsung app. I did see Target lets you return them for 60 days if you purchased with Target Credit Card. Stylish, Insightful, and Surprisingly Comfortable — Love Everything About It
I’ve been wearing the Oura Ring Gen 4 in rose gold for several weeks now, and I genuinely love everything about it. It’s rare to find a health and wellness device that looks good — but this ring really nails it.The design is sleek and minimal, and the rose gold finish adds just the right amount of style without being flashy. It is thicker than your average accessory ring - but, it goes with everything, and I love that I can wear it 24/7 without it looking like a fitness tracker. I don't like the bulkiness of other devices so this is perfect.Comfort-wise, I barely notice it’s on — even while sleeping, which is impressive. The data it provides is clear, comprehensive, and genuinely helpful. I’ve learned so much about my sleep patterns, stress, recovery, and overall activity. The Oura app does a great job of translating data into simple, actionable insights without overwhelming you.Battery life is solid (I charge it every few days), and the charging process is quick and easy. I also appreciate the emphasis on recovery and readiness — it’s a more balanced and holistic approach than many fitness trackers I’ve used in the past.If you want a stylish, low-profile device that delivers high-quality health and wellness tracking, the Oura Ring Gen 4 is absolutely worth it.

Check the fit carefully. It needs to be snug
The Oura ring is an Interesting tool for helping monitor your sleeping and movement throughout the day.Sizing requires buying these sizer rings which I did and the size 11 fit my two ring ringers. The 12 fit my index and middle fingers.I went with the 11. But the left was called little bit loose, not quite snug enough and occasionally does not sense pulse. Othe right ring finger is bigger as it is my dominant hand and works well there. But it is critical that it is a firm snug fit and should resist you well you try to spin it on your finger. But not so tight that you can not get it off or when it gets fatter from humidity or exercise. So it is hard to fit. Get these to test with. And wear them for 24 hours or more before deciding and chose a ring size that may fit multiple fingers snugly so you may be able to find one that works in different environments for you.
