This is the best tool I've ever purchased. Finally no more crawling under cars. Unloading went smoothly but the shipper did destroy the paint by improperly forking the package. Installation was easy and the instructions were very clear. I've had several 6,000+ pound vehicles up on the lift now and it feels very secure. I purchased this lift as opposed to other 10k Chinese lifts selling for half the price because it was that much heavier (shipping weight). I'm hoping the quality and future parts availability will also beat the inexpensive competition. This lift should suit you fine if you are under 6 feet. I'm 6'2" and I probably should have purchased the 13' lift. I really wish it would go up about 3 more inches. I'm only giving this lift 3 stars because of several poor quality control issues. The two long hydraulic hoses were too short. This lift has a high and low installation height. The supplied hoses are a perfect length for the low setting but are 3" short for the high setting. Some modification is required to make the hoses work. The heavy 3/4" bottom plate steel on the carriages is warped causing the lift arms to not be at the same height. This is very noticeable and should not have been overlooked. The welds in general are very sloppy and an entire joint on the carriage was missed.
