This repair kit is fantastic. It comes with detailed instructions, a variety of colors that can be mixed to create the correct tint, tools, and even a storage container for mixed shades. Should be able to make junky looking bags look new again.

This is not going to be an invisible repair but it's nearly so - in the same way that a wall repair isn't always completely invisible, even with perfectly matched paint. I used this to repair a sort of bleached spot in a dark brown chair with a semi-distressed finish, so I loosely swirled in some black and tapped it on (disposable cosmetic sponge worked better than the one it came with). Color-wise, you can absolutely not find the spot, but this is a matte finish and the leather is a sort of light eggshell finish, so they're not the same. I'm going to try some clear shoe wax or polish to get it perfect and we'll see what happens.I had gotten this and a large container of dark brown elsewhere, and the dark brown wasn't dark enough, even with multiple coats. It took adding the black to get the right color, and that's one reason why I think this kit is the superior choice in most instances - you're going to be able to custom blend the color that you need, or semi-blend it like I did to match a deliberately uneven finish. The down side is that there's not enough of any one color to do an entire piece if you've got damage all over, but I don't think that's really what this is designed to do so much as handle small repairs.

I used it on my car seat and for the sofa because there were some scratches and I was not able to remove them. The kit comes with everything needed to repair aristore leather and to use it is very simple because I just follow the quick guide. The process was straightforward and I felt comfortable using it even though I have never tried a leather repair kit. I have managed to remove the scratches and I'm very happy with the results. Initially I was thinking of taking the sofa to a professional company which would have been very costly but with this kit I managed to do it at home and this makes me very happy.

I have a few cracks on a leather recliner I wanted to repair and this seems perfect for the task. The repair compound is built up in layers on your defect (with added backing cloth for large deficits) and then buffed to finish.In theory, the array of different colours should allow you to mix and blend to create pretty much any colour. The reality is that it is challenging. I managed a passable match for my first layer, but for subsequent layers, I am going to try and improve on it. They do offer to provide personal colour match advice if you send them a photo in natural light of the item you want to repair.It's easy to apply, dries reasonably quickly, and even after the first layer the cracks are starting to be less obvious so I am sure that this will achieve what I wanted to do. There is plenty of repair compound provided, though some of the colours ay never be used and the black, white and browns will get disproportionate use I expect.

Very happy with this product - it does exactly what it was supposed to do. The colors in the box may not match your leather item. Careful mixing of colors is required. For example, I matched the color of the gray leather seats by mixing white with small amounts of black and yellow, then adding more small amounts, and then more, checking the color of the leather over and over again until I found the right color. Works perfectly.
