Wilma' is a conical to columnar, dwarf evergreen, dense conifer with plume-like sprays of pointed, lemon-scented, scale-like, bright golden yellow-green leaves. Plant to the front of dark green trees and shrubs, or among purple or red foliaged plants for exceptional contrast. An easy to grow container plant, specimen or hedge. Position: Best in a sunny spot, in any fertile, well drained soil, sheltered from North and East winds. Mature Height/Spread: (After 10 years) 4m (13ft) x 1.2m (4ft). Plant care: Initially, soak the root ball before planting. Plant in a hole twice the diameter of the root ball or pot. Mix an organic soil improver and general fertiliser with the infill soil. Water regularly until established. or Rock Garden. Can be used for ground cover. Position: Best in a sunny or part shaded spot, in any fertile, well drained soil. Mature Height/Spread: (After 10 years) 45cm (18in) x 60cm (24in). Plant care: Initially, soak the root ball before planting. Plant in a hole twice the diameter of the root ball or pot. Mix an organic soil improver and general fertiliser with the infill soil. Water regularly until established. Water well during dry spells. Remove snow from foliage as soon as possible to prevent spreading of branches. Lightly trim with a sharp knife in Spring. Feed with a liquid fertiliser in Late Spring.
