Not what I was expecting
No One In the World by E. Lynn Harris and RM Johnson has received great reviews. Based on those reviews I was excited to begin this book. As I began to read it I found it to be very predictable. The book begins with the life of Kobi Winslow and his mega rich family. Kobi has an issue that his father isn't too happy about and does not mask his unhappiness with Kobi very well. Kobi has one sibling that he is aware of and that's his sister, Sissy. After am unfortunate event Kobi learns he has a twin.Kobi begins his quest for his sibling and encounters him in the most unlikely place you would think of. I guess this is where the story is supposed to take off. This is the point I found it to be predictable and rather boring. As a result of the tragedy Sissy and Kobi have to make decisions that Sissy believes will be the best for the family business. Though Kobi may not agree with the decisions Sissy makes for him for some unknown reason he goes along with them without a fight. There were certain parts of the book I didn't understand. Where did certain feelings manifest? This book left a lot of unanswered questions for me and I can honestly say I doubt very much that I will be reading the sequel if there is one.

Grabs you by the throat ... and won't let go.
I won't go into plot and story line, certainly others will do that. I will say thisis truly the type of novel that quickly grabs you by the throat and won't let go until the last page.Yes. You will want more once it finally releases you.Populated with a black family dynasty (the Winslows), secret familial ties, convicts and con-artists, down-low senators, this book was like a warm blanket to cuddle in while reconnecting to the late great E. Lynn Harris.Penned with his good friend RM Johnson and found on his hard-drive after his passing at the tender age of fifty-four, No One In The World is the diamond we all now knew was hovering on his computer in its raw state to dazzle us all.I only pray there are more gems to mine from the mind and hard-drive of Mr. E. Lynn Harris.

An Ok Collaboration!
I'm a big fan of RM Johnson's "Million Dollar" series, and I have enjoyed the few books I have read by the late E. Lynn Harris. Them coming together was kind of a let down. I think if the first half of the novel was cut down by 40%, the book would've been much better.Although Sissy was loyal to her brother, Cobi, I disliked her from beginning to end. Cobi irked my nerves. He didn't have any control of his life. The same for Austen. Black was...ehhh. He added a nice storyline to the story. I felt very bad for Eric and rooted for him throughout the entire book. I don't know if I care if there will be a part two, but I slightly wouldn't mind it. Hopefully it would be much better than this.

No one in the world
I have read every single novel that E Lynn Harris has ever written obviously this one and "In My Father's House" escaped me I never knew these last two books were written until I went on Amazon.com. My only regret is having never met the author of these incredible books. Some of the stories and situations had me laughing until my sides ached or filled with such emotion that I would find myself tearing up as I read some of the situations because so many were so close to where I live. Once I pick up a book written by E Lynn Harris, I could never put it down it leaves you crying for more...or you will ask your friends, when's the next novel coming out?

Great book - narrator not so good
I initially got this book in an audio book, however the narrator was so boring that I had a hard time staying awake while driving, so I got the book. However, I ended up listening to the audio and the narrator actually got a bit of a groove so it was a little easier to listen. I think the book was a great read, I enjoyed the characters.

I'm Ready for Part 2
I read this book in 5 hrs. Couldn't put it down. THIS is a MUST READ BOOK. The DRAMA the PLOT. I could see this being a movie. The collaboration between E. Lynn and RM is magic. This book delivers from the opening page to the end. There was never a dull moment in the book and I am waiting with bated breath for the sequel to see what happenes. I hope that sequel is on E. Lynn's hard drive as well.

Excellent!
"No One in the World" was an excellent read!!!! I absolutely loved it from beginning to end. Its so refreshing to read drama thats not only exciting but believable! Some books are so drama-filled that it truly lacks believability! I've always been a fan of E. Lynn Harris and will truly miss his work; after reading this book, I'm now a fan of RM Johnson too! I will dive into his composition of novels next! I highly recommend this book and all of E Lynn Harris' books!

Love it
I have always been a fan of E.lynn Harris for the first book of his that i red to his semi autobigarphy. It was sad to hear of his passing and even hard to take knowing that getting hold of his book in the UK would soon come to a halt.I had been wanted to read this book since it was realice and was so glad when i go it on my kindle. I was glued form the get go. I read it in a week and got to the end and wanted more, I would not say that it was one of his bette book but the twist and turn did not disaapoint. I just wish that he was still alive to contunine with a sequal. I am sure that RM Jonson will carry on his work but i am not famlar with it.If you want a boo that wll make you go huh and keep yuou reading till your eye water from tiredness this is the book for you. I would only say that the end is not what you think and you will initanly think when the next one coming out. I do hope that you enjoy this book as much as i did.
