Must read
I haven't read the 48 laws of power or his other books but this seems a promising alternative for them all combined. Great read

The Rising Sun is Same Everyday, but the Thought we Allow to Enter our Mind Dictates our Actions
The media could not be loaded. There are a couple of lines in the preface of the book - 'Being ourselves and just saying what we think can land us in all kinds of trouble...', '...you are a flawed human being like everyone else...' This leads us to think what can we do about it?Robert Greene, the author quotes that we are not provided with wisdom, we must DISCOVER it for ourselves...they represent a struggle and victory.Just like food, wisdom too needs to be taken one thought at a time, one philosophy each day. This book is filled with wisdom juiced out from the author's previous books. The book is titled 'The Daily Laws'. It has 366 Meditations, one meditation per day to be consumed by us, to reflect on and let it guide us throughout the day.The book starts with the month of January and goes on till December. Each month begins with an introduction and has a theme. Each day of the month has a new message explained in one page. The short message promises to guide us, the protagonist, the hero or shero, on a journey full of dangerous and toxic people, hardening us for the life battles ahead of us, making us see the world around us in its true light.Ideally the book is not to be read in a few sittings like any other book. Instead, according to the month and day follow the message. I bought the book in the month of November so I started reading the message from November. I don't know what's the message in December or even the next day. I am not in a hurry to complete reading the book. It's a meditation, take each thought and let in dwell in your mind on that day. Let it guide your actions. This is how we become better, little by little, working on one good thought each day.

Fantastic.
There are hidden gems in this book and every few chapters the way of thinking will make you think or rethink your strategy. This book has 366 meditations for daily use. Pages are arranged date wise - Jan1, Jan 2 and so on. For every single day there is a quote and there is a conclusion. Stunning how much he has fit into one book. This book is a consensus of other books written by the author and he has quite masterfully and in brief made 366 observations which from a life rules point of view is no mean achievement. I loved it. I have read all his books except 50th law. Mastery and Laws of Human Nature are my favourites.

Cocoblu seems to be a good seller
It's the distillation of all the previous books of Monsieur Robert Greene. If you had read all other books, it's like a quick revision. I feel blessed to have found Greene, it was a bit late, but nonetheless, I found him.
