Quality, Fun, Easily Made into Battle Game
Won’t shoot balloons 300 yards but will regularly reach 100-150 after some experience. BATTLE Station Setup (Just what I quickly made, not perfect) We drove several braces into the ground with (2) L shaped metal or wood brackets on the outer edges of each brace. We put one bracket pointing up and one pointing down with roughly a 6” space between them to hold each slingshot handle. After mounting the 2 handles around the brackets each sling shot becomes operable by ONE person. The braces were located at three different locations (BATTLE STATIONS!!!) on our property, about 75 - 80 yds apart from each other in a rough triangle shape. So all bases can hit and be hit by all others. The braces also make the slingshots much more consistently accurate obviously, so you can get quite dangerous after some practice. Our large family and friends had a great time all summer, the ages ranged from 8 to 70 years old (Obviously it’s not safe for small children or the elderly to be hit with balloons rocketed from 100 yards away so the younger ones and some elders only participated in launching the balloons while taking protective cover from incoming volleys) My favorite part was seeing my 50-60 yo Dad have fun like he was 12 again. Surprising way to bring family together but I recommend you try before you knock it.****I must express in the most rigorous way to purchase the 30 sec fill and instant seal balloons if you want to save hours of tedious, agonizing balloon filling and tying. You can have 100 balloons filled and tied in 30 secs!!! Genius, but sorta costly as those 100 balloons cost between $7 and $15 depending where you can find them but they‘re worth it INMO. I know 100 balloons sounds like a lot but they go in 15-25 minutes at each station. Once you start it becomes addictive to see how accurate you can get. I know it sounds silly but it’s a great time

Also good for fall mini pumpkins and apples
We wanted the kids to be able to launch some mini pumpkins and apples from our orchard. This seemed like a good way to do it. Mounted it on 2 fence posts about 3' apart. Kids were launching the pumpkins and apples about 80-90 yards. Lots of fun for them and super cheap entertainment. Recommended for sure.

Lots of fun for kids & adults.
Have really enjoyed using the product with my 12 year son thus far. Really powerful and gets good distance. The cords have held up. The balloons that come with the product are poor quality. Would recommend using other balloons to achieve maximum distance. Overall, a good time.

Great fun for you and a few friends!
I absolutely loved this. I got together with some friends who I go to college with, and we had an amazing time slinging water balloons with the slingshot. We found that it usually takes three people to operate, just like the picture, but you can easily wrap the sides around poles or other sturdy objects. It stretches a lot and it's very durable. We stretched it back as hard as we could and it never broke or gave signs of giving out. I'd say that my friends and I are pretty decently strong, and we got balloons to launch really far away. Also, we slung balloons at each other, and might I suggest protecting anywhere that may be important to you because they can pack a real punch. Great experience and definitely worth the money.

Instant disappointment
The product has been so poorly made that it will instantly pop the balloons you try to launch. Only a splash of water and ripped latex will fly out. There are two tubes in the pocket for the balloon that should prevent the balloon from being squished. However, after ordering two and then receiving two replacements, I’ve found that they’re all poorly made. The tubes shift out of the pocket and, when that happens, destroy the balloon before you can even launch it.I have tried stitching it to fix myself, but it is still frustrating how many balloons don’t even get a chance to go airborne.I now have to choose which two busted launchers to ship back on my return, and which two busted launchers to stare at as I old-school throw balloons like a moron. This shouldn’t be called “The Beast,” but should, instead, be called “The Waste.”So disappointed after buying two years ago that were perfect until the tubing got rotted by sitting in the sun.

Wear and Tear
The beast 300 yard water balloon slingshot is simple and easy to use. I bought it for a summer camp I work at, to be used in an "Angry Birds" challenge activity in which we launch potatoes and water balloons at a camper- built structure to try and knock over buckets or bring down the structure. It did the job quite well, but did not come near the 300 yard distance claim. Also, one of the handles broke off in the middle of our first session - about a dozen launches in. The foam of the handle tore clean through so we had to modify how it was held. Furthermore, when the handle broke and also with our modified grip there were several instances of the slingshot slipping from he grasp of one or more of our holders, causing the elastic bands to slap them n their bodies as the tension released. No one was seriously hurt by this but I would not want to run the risk of it happening again. In sum, it did the job but I wish it had held up better so we could use it longer term. It is definitely a fun activity to have available for our camp, but I would need to either purchase a new slingshot or switch methods (i.e. try a potato canon instead) in order to continue the activity.

Fabric pocket pinches the balloon but is easily fixed
Silicon tubing and fabric pocket is of good quality but the pocket pinches the balloon when you pull back to fire. This is easily fixed, using a hot glue gun, glue the 6 inch clear plastic pieces into the fabric. This is easily done with two people. One applying a bead of glue while the other pushes the 6 inch clear tubing into the fabric. Do not glue the silicon tubing, let it move freely inside the plastic tube. It now works flawlessly with a 10 year old shooting green walnuts over a 120 yards. They should do this fix at the factory. Fabric is holding up well after 100 or more shots. As advertised it says 300 yards, 100 to 120 is more realistic.
